  1. Sandy Harper

Easy to assemble hot tub. The floating cover and hot tub cover came filthy covered in dirt and stains. The pictures are before and after. The white float still has some stains on it.

  2. Angelo Webster

     All around 5 STARS! 🌟

  3. Astrid Dalton

I purchased based on reviews stating easy set-up and responsive customer service. Set-up manual included vague drawings, minimal writing and wasn’t informative resulting in frustration for me.

I went to website for video set-up, which included a bit more instruction but still left-out portions that would be helpful. I never did find a video showing bottom of spa being inflated. I’m still unsure. Overall the product is well constructed and has a lot of thoughtful features. Mainly their product manual or FAQs don’t highlight or explain these design features … I surmised the plus features from reading Amazon customer reviews.

Contacting customer service is also a test of patience. Phone number recording specifies must use online form for call back in 2 days. The webpage listed with spa packaging contact form … after I frustratingly completed because it makes you work and it is awkward, when trying to submit told me I was a US customer and needed to use a different website.

Advice to Bestway Corporation: I understand minimal printed manual, it is what everyone else is getting away with. But please include a more informative manual online. Don’t leave out steps, identify the parts and show with diagrams where each part goes for assembly.

I completed the online call-back form. Received an auto-generated email informing me an account had been set-up with a temporary password. I could now track that a call-back request was in the works. I received error messages when I tried to change the temporary password.

The website page for extending the warranty doesn’t load. I’ve tried several website browsers and throughout the day. I’m not impressed with the online experience.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and we are both thrilled with it. We have it on our wooden deck with the pad underneath the hot tub and it’s really comfortable! It’s not hard at all. The bubbles are very vigorous. This is not a rinky dink hot tub! It heats up quickly and is perfect for 2-3 people. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a 2-person hot tub.

  5. Aaron Gilbert

For our needs, it’s great but loses it’s temp quickly when you turn the jets on (which are actually just air bubbles). The bottom is cushioned so sitting isn’t horrible, and sitting on the bottom does get the water over our shoulders. It is compact so fit in our small patio area easily. It was also very affordable.

  6. Harriet Steele

I can’t say enough good things about this spa! I’ve had it 4 months now, and it holds a great temperature of 104, even on the coldest days. I live in Kentucky, and we’ve had some very cold days this month. Our hot tub is on our patio, and STILL at 104! The bubbling is strong and gives an amazing massage. I was concerned about it not having actual jets coming from the walls, but this design actually massages better than a standard hot tub! I’m a factory worker in my late 40’s, and this hot tub is a life saver! I use it almost daily, and recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and feel incredible! Super easy set up. Very low maintenance. Very sturdy and high quality!! Stop shopping around and get it!

  7. Aldrich Eden

    Love it

  8. Adonis Rob

I love this hot tub! Easy to set up, easy to maintain. Doesn’t take up a ton of space. Exceeded my expectations!

  9. Heloise Bryan

After encountering an issue with this hot tub, this seller moved quickly to solve the issue and we’re happy to say this turned out to be a very nice spa that works perfectly for our needs and space. This could have been a nightmare, but it ended up being a satisfying purchase experience with this cooperative seller. Thanks for making our spa adventure a delightful experience.

  10. Flora Francis

    Great for 3 person

  11. Hannah Moses

Takes a while for the water to warm up, but is well worth the wait. We live in Wisconsin and had this up in the fall. It has held up very well and has great features!

  12. Julian Cook(e)

I love it! Super easy to set up.

  13. Valentine Stone

Came with a hole in it! Patched it; still leaks! Won’t stay inflated. So frustrating!!!

  14. Steven Adolph

FYI if you keep the heater on 24/7, it’ll last less than a years time. This one is smaller than the green Coleman one. That one you can sit on the side and put your feet in. This one you can’t. And the Coleman had 4 people in it cross legged, this one can fit 2 ppl. If just for yourself this one works but it’s much smaller. The filter doesn’t seem to work great either.

  15. Leona Bush

Have had for several months now and even in the bitter cold, this little hot tub works just fine for me. Everyone in the family enjoys using it. I would recommend.

  16. Renata Burke

The temp drops to 102 within about 20 minutes of use, noting the daytime temps are currently about 40 degrees and night temps about 30 degrees. Still very happy with my purchase! The directions were not great and only found 1 tutorial video online to refer to. Carefully think about placement prior to adding water. I was lucky I had set it up thoughtfully, but could see it would be easy to not consider the placement and then need to empty and reposition.

  17. Mignon Dodd

Smaller footprint than other inflatable spas,
Only downside – replacement filters are expensive and only one mfgr.

  18. Mabel Cromwell

Lasted 6 months and now the plug cuts the power after being on for 3 – 4 minutes. Very upsetting

  19. Nina Eipstein

    Works great

  20. Teresa Pigou

    Great size

  21. Ina Strachey

I bought this for Christmas’s gift, so far no issues. It’s sturdy and the bottom is really comfortable to sit on even with no seats. It was easy to set up and fill it up with water plugged it in and turned it on, then the next day I was in it and had no problem holding the temperature well. It’s everything we expected and more.Really worth the money!

  22. Mike Baker

Set up in a rush and hubby didn’t read directions. This hot tub has many improvements over past tubs. We placed it in our garage on those foam interlocking squares. Improvements include integrated chlorine dispenser, improved layout of display and padded bottom. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and find it very comfortable for two people. Our granddaughter enjoys it as a pool. We keep it set at 102 and pull the cover over us and use the cover as a table for laying out the newspaper, propping a book or device. This helps with inevitable heat loss when using the tub with the cover off.

  23. Sophia Saroyan

No where in details or instructions do you tell us the type of filter to use or that we had to use two instructions are poorly written

  24. Susanna Kipling

We got the little one. It’s cozy for 2 and so far, this is AWESOME! Way sturdier and easy to assemble than I thought. Plenty of YouTube videos to help figure out the controls. 97° is just right for us. Based on the reviews I thought we would be happy, but it is even better than I hoped!

  25. Janet Julius

I love my spa!! Fantastic purchase

  26. Virginia Richard

Great tub. Holds heat well. Love it!

  27. Leo Dick

Have been trying to get help from seller, but nothing yet. beware of buying this spa!

  28. Lynn Edith

Not really big enough for 2 people but it’s the cutest little hottub

  29. Martha O’Connor

Easy to assemble but the directions are horrible. Nice quality spa and gets the job done!

  30. Honey Blake

good product , but having problems with the blatter leaking

  31. Angela Davy

There’s nothing that I don’t like about this hot tub. I had a wave spa before this one and it cost more and was less efficient than the best way spa. I would highly recommend this item to someone else.

  32. Nydia Jasper

I did not expect the amount of “bubbles” that this thing makes, and was absolutely delighted the first time I turned it on. It’s the perfect size for me and my husband. We’ll be spend lots of evenings in here after work to unwind a bit. We haven’t tried the heater function yet because it’s already very hot outside. Maybe I’ll do an updated review when fall and winter roll around.

  33. Erin Jerry

Definitely do not recommend. It’s impossible to keep clean and we drain and scrub it every few uses. Waste of time, energy and money.

  34. Ethel Holmes

I echo all the other positive feedback here (cost vs experience, ease of set-up, comfy padded floor, etc.). But I do want to add that my primary reason for getting this version was that it was the smallest I could find. Meaning it comes to temperature quicker than any other model. It might be a fraction quicker, but that fraction means getting in an hour or two earlier (and running the heater for less time). It does mean that there’s less margin of error when it comes to balancing the water with chemicals, but that’s the case for any hot tub really.

I got this as a test to see if I would want a full sized. And while, yes, I use this enough to justify a full sized portable purchase… I kind of don’t need to.

  35. Frances Clemens

Love our hot tub. It came in 4 days. We have ours on our deck and and have not had any issues with the weight of it. We’ve left ours running through the winter here in Colorado and it’s done fantastic, even when it was in the negatives. We did get an error reading once but was an easy fix. The filter just needed to be changed. Good size for a couple.

  36. Lance III.

Built very sturdy! We used this hot tub for a birthing pool. Just used thick painter’s plastic for a liner. Using a hot tub versus anything else made the water temp so easy to control! Definitely only for 2 adults due to the shape, but the depth is awesome for relaxing!

  37. Elma Hill

This is actually a very nice hot tub. I like the auto chlorinator for one. It was an easy set up. It inflated in a short time frame, heated up to 104 in maybe a day . The bubbles are as forceful as jets.It is very comfortable to sit as the bottom in padded. We had a regular hot tub years ago and this is just as nice, just as relaxing. This is set up in our garage because there was no room in our yard! We are enjoying it quite a lot. Since it didn’t come with a pad to set it on, we used a flat board insulation under it just to keep it off the cold garage floor. We live in the south and although it is warm for December, the floor is cool. We are also going to insulate the garage doors to keep the water temp warmer. As soon as you take the cover off, turn on the bubbles, the temp goes down several degrees. I would recommend this!

  38. Erica Kingsley

I wanted my 2 YO baby to swim at home. With this, I can sit in it and hold my baby swimming inside it. It’s pretty cool. Both my baby and I enjoy this a lot. The water is heated up pretty fast. Besides, we love the jets around the edge, which makes it more like a real swimming pool for my baby. Lol. Highly recommend this.

  39. Jacob Armstrong

In less than two weeks the heater stopped working and it can not be returned for a refund. Feel so cheated on this deal.

  40. Sibyl Alice

So nice to be able to have a hot tub anywhere you are!! The instructions are less than helpful but, you are able to figure it out, lol. When inflated it is very sturdy and the bubbles are wonderful just be careful not to OVER fill !!! It will cause over splashing and you’ll have a mess if you are using the tub indoors! 😅 Also, when the bubble feature is activated, the conversations stop, unfortunately, the volume of this feature is LOUD!! This is probably the “worst feature” for us, as my husband and I still really like each-other and enjoy long conversations especially while hanging out in out hot tub… !! So, we are only able to use the bubbles for short periods of time 😕 Overall, it was a good purchase, it will get up to 104 dgrs but, 100 degrees seems good for us! The heating feature is EXPENSIVE so, be aware of this , if you are on a budget! Also, it takes about 4 -5 hours to get up to this temperature so, if you have to plan ahead to have hot tub time! We even have it indoor with the lid on at all time and it still takes this long to reheat from being off over night. We don’t feel safe keeping it plugged in all night plus that would be EXPENSIVE!! Lol. We like the tub and enjoy the time together in it!

  41. Alice Juliet

The picture instructions were a little hard to follow. Now it is setup and I love love it! I wish I’d ordered a long time ago!

  42. Myron Esther

    Very good

  43. Asa Toynbee

I love my hot tub spa. The only thing I will tell anyone is if you is it outside or inside. Put a tarp under it. Yes even if it is on carpet or cement. It will save you in the long run of having the plastic rip.

If you are not going to take the filter out and clean it everyday then you will have problem.

  44. Benedict Electra

What have you got to lose. Give it a try.

  45. Ron Wright

Nice unit easy set up and portable

  46. Zona Lew

Honestly this is better than the real thing for me. I set it up in my garage and my friends ended up all doing the same thing. I expected it to not really work but it’s great. I love it!

  47. Noah Commons

I wasn’t sure about these portable hot tubs. But Wow. So glad we did it. This was a perfect and affordable choice. It’s amazing and relaxing and just right for two adults. No problem keeping the water hot in our little hot tub room/tent. Makes lots of bubbles and feels wonderful on achy knees and shoulders. Easy to set up and clean. Totally recommend this purchase.

  48. Sean Bulwer

Set-up tonight. Got for Christmas. Got in around 99 deg. Super excited for tomorrow when it heats up all the way. It was super comfortable too, really enjoyed it. I’m 5’11, my hubby is 6’4. So far, so good.

  49. Cornelia Baldwin

This hot tub is very fast to set up – I did it in under 10 minutes – and once filled it came up to hot tub temperature in one day. Much better than my old portable tub.

  50. Randolph Washington

This hot tub was lopsided when filled and the cover would not fit. The seller was very obliging and gave me a full refund

  51. Arno Tom

I am in this spa in the morning and night time. It relaxes me. I love my Saluspa St. Lucia.

  52. Louis Isaiah

This was fairly easy to set up after watching a couple of videos others have posted on YouTube I knew what to expect. Set up took about 45 mins because we laid out some gym tiles underneath.
I like the size, it’s perfect for one or two short people. I think anyone over 5’6 would find this small and may not be able to lay their legs straight out. It’s youre 5 feet tall (like me) you’ll love it

I have yet to empty or refill the air, so can’t speak to that, but you can apparently you the air pump while it’s still full. I’m not sure if I’ll mess with that as I’m only planning on keeping it up for a few weeks.

I definitely recommend the Intex cup holder, it fits on perfectly and is easier for holding a drink than the built in cup holders.

You will need to use pool chemicals for this if you plan on keeping the water in it for more than a few days. I’m finding it tricky to obtain the proper PH and bromine levels but that’s not the tub’s fault. The water is clear and tub is clean.

The “jets” are nothing wrote home about, so keep your expectations realistic. They are air holes in a ring around the bottom. It’s cool for a few mins but I’m finding I perfer using it without

The manual recommends running the filter 3 hours a day, regardless of if you have used the tub. This seem like a lot but I try to run it when I remember.

It took about 14 hours to get to 104, however since we’ve been in a heatwave I find I hardly need to run the heater, the sun alone will get it to about 93-94 for a few hours on its own.

It’s quieter than expected, so that’s good.

I’m totally happy with the purchase and use it almost every day. I have sciatica and joint problems and I don’t have access to a tub, this has been a great alternative

  53. Michelle Saxton

I wanted to take a picture of the hole at the bottom and discovered that there is a tube along the bottom with multiple holes that I did not see earlier. I inflated the tub which was easy. I filled the tub and turned the heater on and have now used it 3 times. It is great. I put some moving blankets on the tile under the tub, so now it is soft and comfortable when sitting in it. I have now recommended this tub to four friends. Michael

  54. Hunter Kelvin

Looked fine upon arrival. Took pump out of box , plugged in and the cords GFCI tripped right away. Don’t recommend.

  55. Pag Violet

Helps with aches and pains 1st thing in mornings. Wish had insulation around it but not made for the winter months. Could not beat the price.

  56. Jeremy Motley

It was fairly easy to set up. It was missing a gasket needed for filling the tub and cover with air. It was easier for me to make my own than wait for one to show up from “who knows where”. Otherwise, easy set up and everything works exactly as expected.

  57. Hedda Craigie

Easy setup and low maintenance Perfect size for us. We use it on our lania.

  58. Carol Young

I was very skeptical when I purchased this hot tub
For my husband in December. It is now April, and the thing is still running great! We placed it in our unfinished basement. Even on the concrete, floor, no pad or insulation underneath it holds its temperature perfectly. We do keep it covered when not in use though, and it is sheltered from the weather. Max temperature is 104, but that does drop rather quickly when you run the bubbles if the air temperature is cold. The bubble feature is much more powerful than I was expecting. The walls of the tub are stable and sturdy. The pad on the bottom of the tub is thick and cushioned enough to keep you comfortable. It does not feel like you are sitting on concrete. The pump is quite and efficient. If you use spa chlorine correctly and change the filter regularly, it stays very clean without having to regularly replace the water. Filter does need to be replaced about once a month and the water will get stinky if you don’t keep up with the maintenance! The size is perfect for two average adults to sit and move comfortably. You could easily fit a third person in there, but it would cozy. Does noticeably raise your electricity bill. Over all, we are very happy with the tub and it is used 2-3x a week.

  59. Lena May

I’m having trouble getting the temperature to get up like I want it while we are in.

  60. Grover Clark(e)

The spa works as well as expected. I leave it running all the time and not much in the way of added power cost. Maybe about $15 a month. I keep the chlorine level on the low side of the of the scale “that one should buy”. I do have an issue though. It keeps getting tiny floating white pieces of what looks like pvc pipe shavings.
I drain and refill the spa every few weeks and they come back. I got a fine fish net and I can get a lot of them and its fine material; but it can be smashed between fingers. It’s not like scum or anything like that and I just hope Its not from the pump as that’s really the only moving part running all the time. It keeps me worried. Other than that its great

  61. Archibald Ernest

Use the video on on Amazon or Youtube which is clearer than the instructions. one person setup, great size (2 people +) and excellent value. Going to move it from yard to basement come winter lol

  62. Ted Gibbon

worked great for the summer and fall. put it away for the winter since we’re in Michigan and gets pretty cold… brought it back out and managed to get a pinhole sized hole in the top of it. i patched it and started it up.. only to have it deflate the next day. i re-patched it 4 times and nothing worked! it was a tiny puncture, not even sure how it got there… but it was mighty lol. oh well… guess i need to just get a “real” one.

  63. Werner Evans

I ordered this item because I got the impression that 2 or 3 people could be in there comfortably, but the truth is it is only for one person. I do not recommend it.

  64. Beryl Herty

    It doesn’t stay hot

  65. Maureen Flower

Best $350 I spent in a long time. 2 years outdoors and going strong.

  66. Christian Malthus

Update at 6 months below, changing review from 5 down to 3 (so far):

I’m super happy with this tub. We weren’t sure if we would use a hot tub, so we didn’t want to drop $10k on a real one. This one has allowed us to realize how much use it gets without breaking the bank. And so far, it’s great, and we don’t have any intention of replacing it with a fixed unit. This works just fine!
We’ve had this for almost three months, I use it 3-4 nights a week. Live in SoCal, so no freezing possible. It raises temp by a very consistent 3 degrees per hour. If it’s been a couple of nights, I have to remember to turn it on mid-day so it’s ready by night.
You have to get used to getting the chemistry right, but once you have that figured out, it’s pretty easy.
Get one of those floating chlorine tablet holders. Make sure you run it pretty regularly so the water gets filtered.
It has no padding on the bottom (nor does a regular hot tub), so I put some foam pads underneath. Since you’re submerged and your weight is supported by the water, there is no problem sitting on a firm surface.

Update: 6 months later, it started to deflate. Small holes are showing up along the top seam. I was able to patch one, but more have appeared. The seam is pulling apart.
Also, the shape of the tub has changed; so the cover will no longer stay on.

So far, their customer service is claiming the holes are “cosmetic,” and that I’m therefor not eligible for a replacement. Not acceptable.

UPDATE: They have agreed that the holes are structural defects and are sending a new tub.

  67. Sidney Hansom

what type/number of filter does it use? directions do not say and the web sit does not say where to order replacements

  68. Alan Louis

Super easy to assemble & the soft sides are great for your head/neck to rest

  69. Elaine Wilhelmina

So I may change this review after a week of using but I want to tell you know .. it’s simple to hook up and put together but that’s only cuz I know how to build thing but the instructions are important to use to start a fire with… OMG worst instructions I have ever tried to read… Even the pictures sucked … … I do like the light weight and you can damn near put it anywhere..

I recommend that you put foam under it to save from a puncture and keep the heat in the tub .. 20 bucks at home Depot

  70. Julius Thomson

    My old bones and muscles.

  71. Arlene Jeremiah

Only pictures for the directions. Should put the part numbers next to the pictures.

  72. Letitia Cronin

Easy to setup, practical, well designed, easy to maintain – buy it you won’t regret it.

  73. Ernest Huxley

I ordered this item and received one week later. Was worried it would take longer based on reviews, but I didn’t have any shipping delays.

I give this item 5 stars for assembly because overall it wasn’t hard BUT you have to watch the video on how to set it up because the directions that come with it on paper are awful.

I’m really impressed with this hot tub. The bubbles are way more aggressive than I anticipated and I was surprised at how big it is – more than enough room for 2 adults. I love that the cover clips down tight and there are two drink holders built into the top of the pump.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks so I can’t speak to energy efficiency yet. I don’t leave it running 24/7 at this time (summer) but may consider doing so in the fall.

Regarding chemicals, I’ve not owned a hot tub or pool before so I’m learning on the fly about chemical treatment. So far so good.

  74. Adelaide Bowman

Loved the ease of set up and how quickly it inflates! Be careful not to OVER-INFLATE! Very comfortable and sturdy. Temperature heats to 104 but drops a few degrees when bubbles are going (not noticeable though). I have mine is basement and love it! I gave it 4 stars bc of the lack of information in “users guide.” Sadly after 10 days, it started losing air due to a small puncture. I will update if enclosed patch works.

  75. Dana Jenkin(s)

Love the product.Easy to set up and take down

  76. Jodie Clarissa

I took a chance on this because of some negative reviews but so far mine works absolutely perfect I’ve had it now for a month I’ve used it a bunch it heats up really fast and works just as advertised I couldn’t be more pleased

  77. Kent Sherwood

We looked for a long time at buying a portable hot tub. We chose the St. Lucia because it was a smaller one as there are only two of us. We wanted something that would fit under our patio cover to protect it from the snow. It was a very easy set up and so far it has kept temperature at 104 degrees even when temperatures dipped down to 9 degrees!! I bought some foam interlocking 25”x25”. squares from Harbor freight and put them down on the cement in a double layer and it insulated it very well. I also purchase silver rolled insulation from Lowes and went around the tub twice because it is so cold here. We are loving this hot tub. My hopes are that it lasts and we get a lot of use out of it! Just an extra note. We rinse off everytime we get in the tub. I rinse the filter once a week. It really isn’t that dirty. Rinsing off is the key. I don’t use chlorine or bromine. We use Pristine Blue. It is copper based and works very well. No slime ever! Our water is crystal clear after 2 months. We will see how long this tub lasts but so far so good.

  78. Edmund Pater

The setup was super easy and it works great, heats up quickly and have spent many hours in it already. Would and have recommended to others

  79. Ida Humphr(e)y

Easy to set up. Warms up pretty fast. We did have a leak in the seam. There’s is absolutely no costumer service at all!!
Fits 2 adults and 2 kids fine

  80. Rita Windsor

Easy setup, bubble more intense then expected (a good thing). Temp control could be better. Overall great for the price!

  81. Armstrong Springhall

I’ve had portable hot tubs before. This one feels sturdy. You can lean against the sides comfy and secure. Heated up to 104° in 24 hours!!! It is a slightly cozy 2 person hot tub but I like it. Good for my arthritis. Best in a protected space from wind for heat retention. It says no freezing temps. We use a basement but a garage would do in winter too. Cover works good. Easy set and maintain. Fast and clean filter changes too. I’ve had it up 3 weeks.

  82. Mick Cumberland

    Relajante, maravilloso, fácil de instalar.
    Se necesita instructivo en español.

  83. Hamiltion Reed

THIS IS MY FIRST HOT TUB
I put this in my man-cave in the garage..
    NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!!!
I am in multiple times every night after work!
This hot tub has no jets, but forced bubbles that go all around the bottom of the tub…
VERY RELAXING, but very different from a full jet output hot tub….
Heater, not very quick to heat up… give it a few hours to get to 104
I have not tested exactly how long, cause I just leave it on 24/7 now…

We really do like this product. one upgraded need would be the bubble feature, currently is it just on or off but would be nice if you could go from high to low. The bubble are a bit powerful at times.

After much research…all in on this inflatable hot tub. Easy set up. Pump and heater work well. Keep on top of the water treatment(easy) and you’re set for relaxation.

Its is better than I thought it would be. I definitely would recommend this

I was a little wary due to the relatively low cost and the fact that it was inflatable. I could not have been more wrong. Other than the fact that the unit they sent me does not have the Wi-Fi connection, I am completely pleased with this. Surprisingly, my electric bill has not gone through the roof either. I put mine in the garage because the air is not heated and if you put it outside it will cool the water all very very quickly. I love this thing.

I was having pool envy and looked at small above ground pools, but I have so many trees and leaves I would have had to fit it in a screen gazebo and run electric out. Decided to just go super small and use this as a cool off single person pool for the summer and then I’ll crank the heat in fall/winter. Best part is it is so small that it fit on my screen patio. The bubbles are almost too much LOL
