  1. Leopold Lambert

It’s a decent rack. Gets the job done. but if you got some extra money then go for something better. The straps on this thing don’t secure the bike too well. Go for a rack that holds your tires. not the frame. You’ll thank me later.

  2. Harvey

Works as expected. Definitely need stabilization piece.

  3. Setlla Back

I bought this for my daughters SUV so we could go bike riding together. She is very happy with it! Very easy to use. : )

  4. Cornelia Wilcox

    Buen precio

  5. Isidore Kennan

Worked perfectly. Mounts as designed. Very stable. didnt flex or shake a lot during travel. Mounted and held the bikes securely. the adjustable straps and saddles were a perfect fit. Only used two bikes. You could fit 4 but it would take some arrangement. Figure this is true with all racks. I used a locking hitch pin and bike locks to prvent anyone from stealing them.

  6. Lillian Terry

Bought this because I didn’t want to scratch up my car with a rack attached to the back of my car. I was a little nervous. as a friend had one like this (different brand) and hers was super wobbly.
This one is not. I’ve had three bikes on it at a time. and it works perfect. very little movement from them bikes. It is easy to get into the back of my car. just remove a pin and it angles down for access. Removal is somewhat easy. but be aware. you’ll need two wrenches for it.

  7. Donald Conan

The two are to short to go through the frame.

  8. Hulda Whitehead

Bought this bike rack last Sept in preparation for our new camper and a vacation to TN. We waited for our new camper until November so we didn’t put it on until this spring. This week was the first we used it. BOY WAS IT DISAPPOINTING! We lost a mongoose mountain bike somewhere between Pigeon Forge and West Virginia!! My daughter was devastated! We are thankful no one was injured. Rack is totally bent! We had to ratchet strap the other bikes down so we didn’t lose them too!!! Don’t buy unless you want to buy a new bike or possibly terribly injure someone along the road. Obvious not eligible for return at this point since it’s been so long even though this was the first time we were able to use it!! 🙁

  9. Paula Galbraith

If I could give it zero stars. I would. We used the bike rack a total of 2 1/2 times before it failed. We took the rack on short trips. 30 miles to our destination and 30 miles home. After arriving at our destination for our third adventure. we discovered that the rack had failed. Three of the bikes shifted. one of the arms bent. two straps ripped. and one of our bikes is gone!! I would not recommend this rack. It is not sturdy enough to transport 4 bikes. We are now left with 3 bikes and a broken rack.

  10. Felix Adam

Everything is pretty simple. for me the only problem was my hitch. it was a bit rusty but wd40 and a heavy hammer did the job. This bike rack has silicone holders. I like that cause the stretch around the bar and gives it that extra hug. They do look like they will break someday. but they can be replaced. It feels like it could hold a few bikes. but keep in mind the weight of each bike as some bikes are really heavy and that will decrease the amount of bikes you can instal. I have a fixie. a cruiser and a heavy mountain bike and all three worked. The fixie was on the outside as it was the lightest.

  11. Bruce Christie

DO NOT BUY! Horrible quality! The plastic holders bend and break on first use!

  12. Byron Faraday

Straps were too short to fit my daughter’s mountain bike frame. This was disappointing.

  13. Joy Jeremiah

It is very practical and easy to install

  14. Bill Beaufort

I must admit that I was skeptical because of the price point. The reviews that I read were mostly positive so I Took a chance. So glad I didn’t waste hard earned money on a more expensive carrier. Great finish. simple instructions to assemble and solid. Have used many times since my purchase and love it.

  15. Hannah MacArthur

It does the job of a bike rack. but it the pins get stuck easily and will not lock in place like they should. Easily rusts and very cumbersome to install and/or get off the hitch. It’s my first bike rack but it feels like it after 1 rainstorm it started to rust inside and the pins wouldn’t go through completely.

  16. Lesley Isaac

    best product

  17. Troy Robinson

I am impressed by the steel construction of this bike rack. It is extremely well made and extremely easy to use. I really appreciate that a hitch stabilizer is included. After installation of the bike rack and the stabilizer onto my vehicle. the bike rack was solid and without play. I attached the rack to the hitch on my Toyota 4Runner and the feature that lets the rack lean forward. allowed me to open the rear hatch of my vehicle with ease and without having to remove the bike rack. This was a huge convenience. The rack’s arms fold down after you take your bikes down to ride. making it safe for people who may walk by your vehicle. The straps to hold the bikes are thick and stretch. they securely held our bikes in place. Our bikes did not budge during transport. even while turning corners and while driving freeway speeds. What impressed me more than the bike rack itself was the seller’s customer service representative Vivian. I emailed the customer service department for assistance and Vivian replied to me almost immediately. She was friendly. professional. and eager to assist me. I exchanged emails with Vivian. and she always replied quickly. and she resolved everything for me. Her emails were always very kind. Vivian is what really made all the difference for me. I received a great product. I was pleased with that. but having a great customer service representative like Vivian made the purchase of a great bike rack an awesome experience. It is because of Vivian that I can say I would purchase from this company again without hesitation. Thank you. Vivian!

  18. Suzanne Carnegie

I was thinking I’d be spending $400 on the low end for a bike rack. I saw this one for $100 and thought what the hell. Only had it a week and so far it’s freakin’ awesome. Highly recommend so far and the price is unbelievable. I really scored.

  19. Phyllis Senior

The very first time we put the bike on the rack. we didn’t even make it out of the neighborhood and my brand new bike fell off the rack. We tried again. just to be sure that it was on the rack securely and it fell off a second time. We immediately drove home and took it off of the Jeep and boxed it up.

  20. Edwina Wallace

i was very happy to buy this bike carrier; i’ve been looking for something well built at a reasonable price and thought this one would finally work for me. I found this on walmart. checked out the companies website. and did as much research as i could. was very happy to make the purchase. Then i was super disappointed to find it did not fit my trailer hitch. the hitch is a standard 2″ hitch. and I’ve used it many times with borrowed bike racks and trailers. never had a problem with a hitch insert not fitting my hitch. But the hitch insert from Ikuram didnt fit… specifically the square corners of the hitch insert were not rounded off enough to fit my hitch. the sides of the hitch insert would fit. it was just the corners were literally maybe a millimeter too big. in the package with the rack there was a piece of paper that said if you have questions or issues here are our contact details. “we can solve them all” they said. So i go the companies website. go to contact us which says they do their best to get back to you within 48 hours. and leave a polite message explaining the hitch insert doesn’t fit. 5 days later. still no response. So i email again. I get a response within a day; their response word for word below:

Thanks so much for you choose our product.

If the rack doesn’t fit your car. Please apply for a return refund from walmart. Thanks.

well. needless to say this was quite disappointing. i frankly did not want to reutrn the rack. it was the first one i found that seemed well made and that was a decent price. I wanted to keep this rack. just get an insert that fit. So I take matters into my own hands: since i am handy and have the right tools. I ground the corners of the metal hitch down with a metal grinder until it fit. Didnt take too long (10 minutes). and i didnt take off too much metal. so the integrity of the hitch is fine (I think). Now i have my bike rack. well made. fits my hitch. and at the right price. BUT i will say that customer service was not helpful. big minus. AND it only worked out because i have a metal grinder. So if you dont have your own metal grinder. perhaps beware. I dont know how you can check to see if it will fit ahead of time. I have a class IV 2″ hitch. their walmart product page says it fits ‘most’ class III and IV 2 inch reciever hitches. well. it didnt fit mine.

  21. Amy Saul

Easy to put together. Only used it once but it worked well for our three kid bikes. Came with a stabilizer so it doesn’t rattle

  22. Colin Bess

I don’t know what people expect but this does the job. Do yourself a favor and get some velcro bike straps. they really help.

  23. Clark Emerson

Great rack . sturdy and strong pieces with easy assemble and you don’t worry your bike will fall off .what surprise me is I can easy access to my truck . we just went to the park for biking today all three of us .we all have fun there and most importantly without truck getting dirt !

  24. Ruby Habakkuk

Even after attaching it very strongly with a hitch stabilizer. it would still sway. Its ok. I guess with 2 bicycles. but I needed at least 3. I returned it and bought a light trailer.

  25. Zoe Carroll

Straps are too short to go around our bikes. We were ready to take them on a trip and weren’t able to. Very disappointed after paying good money for this bike rack.

  26. Bishop Harte

The straps to hold bikes were not long enough. Awkward design

  27. Marvin Dora

This bike rack is very well built and easily accommodates four adult-sized bikes. Easy to assemble as well.

  28. Katherine Newton

Works great. very easy to install and we can carry our bikes wherever we go specially during COVID time when we go out we want to do outdoor activities. Great for people who does camping and have many bikes to carry all together.

  29. Amanda William

Great product! Well built and we’ll designed!

  30. Barry Horace

The design was flawless. Very easy for myself to use. No rattling on the road

  31. Darren Jack

As described by seller. easy to assemble. tools included to tighten bolts and nuts. fits 2″ receiver of Tacoma truck. looks stable. have not been able to use to transport bicycles.

  32. Nat Adela

This bike rack does the trick for me. It’s a four – but I’ve only had two bikes on it so far. It’s solid. easy to assemble and easy to use. When not having a bike on it. It’s a little wobbly. but I think that is how these things are? Meaning. it makes a little noise as I’m driving down the street and hitting potholes. I’d def buy it again.
Update: 3/10/2021 – the ‘rattling’ is my ignorance. They included a stabilizer for the bar. but I never installed it. I looked over (in my garage) one day and said… “How does this thing work?”…and once i figured out how to install it. rack is nice and tight! So far. so good for me. Great value.

  33. Mandel Hood

Totally works. Comes with a hitch stabilizer which was absolutely necessary on mine. Once I attached the stabilizer there was no more rattle. 4 adult bikes would be a challenge but I think it could work. I’m using two kid bikes and two adult bikes.

  34. Max

Nice bike rack. Great quality and easy install.

  35. Buck Pitman

Purchased this and used it on an 850 mile road trip. Held up pretty well. Not sure if it was the vibration or I didn’t tighten it up enough but the straps moved a little. but not enough to cause concern. Excellent bush egg bike rack!

  36. Nathaniel Stone

The rack itself was quite sturdy. but the retention straps provided with this rack are absolutely useless for common mountain bike sizes and thicker frame tubes.

This rack is designed for lightweight street bikes. but definitely not for mountain bikes with thicker frames unless you retrofit it with your own retention straps. because the ones provided are less than 5-inches long. and won’t wraparound even the most basic bike frame. When I contacted the company to ask if I could buy additional. longer straps from them. I was asked to provide pictures and then told simply; “sorry you have to buy a spacer bar at your own expense”.

No effort to help a customer who just paid $100 on their product find a satisfactory remedy through them. Without a loan. I am returning the rack and looking for a different company to give my money to.

  37. Bradley Howard

    Excellent

  38. Poppy Ellen

I didn’t want to spend 100’s on a bike rack and this one fit the bill. I watched a youtube video on the assembly and it only took me a few minutes to assemble and screw the bolts together. I fit three bikes ( 1 men. 1 women and 1 kids) easily. I’m not so sure how I would fit a fourth. The straps are definitely stiff at first but after using them a couple times its much easier to take on and off. I’ve driven with the bike rack on local roads and just 10min on highway and no issues with the bikes wobbling or anything.

  39. Andrew Woolley

This bike rack was easy to assemble and was very durable with 4 adult bikes on a 750 mile trip. Held them securely and no issues. Just what we needed.

  40. Vito Broad

Easy to assemble. and install. Not quite as sturdy as I would like. For the price. it’s a really good value. I only have two bikes to carry. so its ok.

  41. Rex Sally

I attached this to the back of my 5th wheel for a long haul trip. We all joked about how it was incredibly sturdy and there was no way this would ever move…we were soo wrong.
I drove 500 miles with no issues holding 4 bikes. 1 adult and 3 jr. Then I headed up a paved road between Colorado Springs and Telluride. At some point during a construction zone two of the straps broke holding my Specialized Source 11. We were next to a river ravine so I am guessing it ended up in there. Since it was on the back of my camper I did not see it go. The next bike had 1 strap break and was dangling and holding on by a thread. The 2 other bikes were secure.
After 800 miles more of driving I can see 1 more strap has broken and all 4 have shifted from their original locations.
This has been a costly purchase for me. It is probably fine if you are mounting it on a car and driving around town where you can keep an eye on it. Do NOT use with a camper!

I am guessing the shocks on the camper were too rough for the bike rack and that caused them to snap when I would hit bumps.

  42. Elaine Addison

    Very difficult to use

  43. Robert Eddie

This bike rack was easy to install. used it a few times transporting bikes on highways . Very sturdy..

  44. Jessica Law

I really like for my bike and safe to use for me

  45. Abraham Chaucer

Good rack. but U bolt and nuts for stable at the hitch were not matched the correct sizes for each other. They striped out and had to buy new U bolt and nuts while we were on a trip. Got very loose and wobbling.

  46. Augus Harriman

I love thats its so versatile. I can move it from the truck to the camper with ease. It is easy to arrange and It will fit any bike .
I recommend it to anyone who has to carry bikes.

  47. Berton Michelson

This rack does do the job its supposed to. it is functional and easy to assemble. However the straps are difficult to engage securing your bike load. It seemed that although it came with qty. 4 hitch mounts. really would be better just with two mounts versus four of them. Once you get more than two bikes on this rack the bikes move to much and kind of bang on each other with the wheels…anyways I don’t dislike it. I think the design could be improved to just carry two bikes

  48. Marian Malan

Strong. sturdy rack that will work for standard bikes. You may load 3. Loading 4 adult bikes would be a stretch. At least for the mountain bikes I have. I had to return this and get my money back. Too much of a struggle to keep the bikes stay firm on the rack for any length of time.

Too much play between rack and the hitch at the interconnecting tube. causing way too much vibration of the bikes when driving. Also the rubber bike holder stays were not designed for the bigger thicker frames of some of the newer mountain bikes. Bike holder stays are too pliable and splays; spilling the bike out of the bike holder. The rubber straps are very hard to pull and tighten over a thick frame. And when you do get it after struggling for while. when you do on long trips. it comes undone due to the vibration of the whole rack.

I just ended up paying a $30 more and buying an Allen Sport Deluxe Locking rack. That works perfectly for me.

  49. Alston Parker

Its a very good product. We drove with 3 bikes on it about 600 miles and didn’t have any issue. Freeway speeds of 75mph. Held up very well.

  50. Eileen Jordan

Purchased this. when it arrived the first thing I noticed was the box damaged. Ok stuff happens in shipping. Open the box to see rust and dirt everywhere. Continued to pull parts thinking that MAYBE it’s salvageable. NOPE. Nuts and bolts were missing. The rubber pieces that hold the frame look as if they’d been chewed on by a dog and the straps were broken. The “fork” where the bikes rest upon was rusted and severely bent and damaged. So to recap….missing nuts and bolts. rusty and dirty. product severely damaged.

  51. Jerry Morton

I wanted to take two bikes with us for a week at the beach. so finally broke down and looked for a hitch mounted rack that would take at least two bikes. In the current Pandemic situation. it was hard to find a decent. reasonably priced rack that was actually IN STOCK. The IKURAM rack fit most of my criteria. cost only a hundred bucks or so. and was actually available. It’s a decent sturdy rack. no frills. Only works with a 2″ hitch. but if you do have a 2″ there is no doofy adapter to deal with and the vertical column and hitch point are 2″ steel tube. Pins that allow pivot of the support forks and a 45 deg. lowering of the vertical are well plated. with thoughtful retaining wires and a holding bale wire that keeps them from rattling out or getting lost. Unit is steel. powder coated. Already seeing some rust at the edges. My one complaint about the unit is the rubber hold-down straps. While they have cute orange tips. they are incredibly stiff. and since the buttons they go on are in line with the fork. you have little leverage to really PULL the strap over the button. At first I thought it was just a weak old man problem. but my robust 30-something son had a hard time with them. too. Solution? Replace the rubber straps with softer third party straps and toss the ones it came with. So. another 15 or 20 bucks to get a working rack. Another caveat is that you probably won’t get four bikes on the rack unless they are skinny racing type bikes. Fortunately the unused cradles can be easily rotated to point down. making loading easier. or possibly removed entirely as they are a split collar design with a setscrew to tighten. DO NOT BUY the stabilizing kit. It came in the box with the rack. albeit with no explanation or instructions. Parts bag also included a 5/8 (I think) bolt and nut for the hitch pin. but get yourself a quick-change one at any auto parts store so you can install and remove without tools. Assembly instructions are minimal and you CAN assemble it incorrectly. (Trust me!) Bikes went to and from the beach (~ 450 mi.) with no problems at all WITHOUT the stabilizer installed. So overall. I rate as better than average. and would recommend. but not five stars. (As a former teacher. I grade on a hard curve.)

  52. Dolores Malachi

This rack is supposed to be for a 2″ receiver. but the pin holes are too narrow for a standard 2″ receiver lock pin. And on top of the hole being too small they were in the wrong location. way to close to the end of the tubing. Rather than dealing with a return of a large item I decided to drill the properly sized hole at the appropriate depth. While the price was great (Prime day). now I know why. Other wise all other parts fit together well.

  53. Dora Babbitt

    Used this item once.
very difficult to strap bikes into the holders using the attached rubber straps. had to use a pair of pliers to attach.
Once we arrived at our destination 45 minutes away the 3 bikes that were on it ( NO WAY YOUR GETTING 4 ON THIS RACK) shifted quite aggressively and were very difficult to remove from the rack sagging so much. Very disappointing.

  54. Dick Emmie

It’s ok not the best. it will hold 3 bikes solid but not 4 unless 2 r toddler bikes. I like how it functions but if ur short like me and ur truck sits high it is a stretch to get the bikes off. The portion where the clip is so you lower it to open a back hatch doesn’t work well on mine I can’t ever get the pin to go back thru without pounding on it

  55. Ryan Nixon

Good quality product. Used it couple of times so far and the best part is it takes barely a minute or 2 to install or remove it from the car. The stabilizer attachment that came with it is definitely handy and a must go for any hitch

  56. Alva Simpson

Never had to bolt a stinger into my receiver hitch before.

  57. Jesse Zacharias

Easy to assemble. easy to load and unload our bikes and it was solid on a two hour ride to the mountains.

  58. Monroe Lucius

Very easy to assemble and super sturdy once on the vehicle. I would recommend. I watched YouTube to assemble it.

  59. Werner Hughes

I can’t rate this product. It is a Christmas gift for my daughter and her family for their camper.

  60. Dorothy Larkin

holes didn’t align correctly and it didn’t work once installed. Would not accept return. Poor product

  61. Tab Crane

Would have rated a 5 star but one of the holes was not drilled properly. I needed to use it the next day so rather than return. I used my drill to get the proper size hole. 2 minutes to get it working perfectly.

  62. Baird Laurie

So this was easy to assemble. easy to install. be warned. we lost a bike because one of the straps broke enroute to our destination. By the time we found out it was too late to go back for the bike.

  63. Lindsay Eipstein

Easy install. works well – would recommend

  64. Justin Hodgson

First. the holes didn’t line up for the pin to go all the way through. I decided I would contact support. so I scanned the QR Code in the instructions. and it took me to Allen Sports support. After emailing back in forth with images. I was notified that this was not their product. that the instructions must’ve been copied. including their QR Code for support. I returned the product to walmart. and purchased the Allen Sports Equivalent. Those instructions actually made more sense for the product they sent.

  65. Stan Hume

Despite being told it would work with Jeep Wrangler. it doesn’t. I would like to return it but have had no success contacting Ikuram. They don’t make it easy to reach them for support.

  66. Cynthia Gregory

Only used this product once but already like it. Easy to install.

  67. King Austen

900 miles with 2 bikes and of that 200 with 3 bikes.

This rack is very sturdy for the price range and when tightened down all the way. only a slight play in the assembly where the lower half meets the upper half.

The straps start out very tough but soften up with use which was a concern but no longer.

I have had a couple of times where I had to readjust the bikes because they were starting to slide backwards over time but I think tightening it down would stop that from happening again.

I did not bother with the hitch screw as I do not have sockets large enough and their wrenches are a bit too flimsy to try to use for that every time you wish to add and remove the rack every time you wish to transports bikes. If you don’t want it to be permanently on your vehicle. use a standard hitch pin.

  68. Channing Lee

This rack broke the first time we used it and it only had three bikes on there. With three bikes they move constantly bounce up and hit the camper over and over again. We moved one bike inside and only left two on the rack and still every holder has broke and it is not usable! Of course we are past our return time and hope that no one waste our money on this horrible product!

  69. Tony Rose

Easy to assemble with nice features.

  70. Cecilia Taylor

For short trips. this works well. For a longer trip on interstate highways. it doesn’t work well. With proper install. one bike nearly fell off on highway and the rack was slightly bent from 4 bikes. It’s a 4 bike rack but still bent. We will keep it and use because it is ok for a quick trip in neighborhood but won’t use it for vacation anymore.

  71. Tammy Pritt

Very sturdy. quiet with 3 bikes on it

  72. Amos Joel

Don’t know how well this thing will work or how long it will last. but I hope the pictures spare the less mechanically-inclined of you out there the aggravation I had. Honestly. if they’d just included a few well-lit. large. color photos of the finished product. with good resolution. you probably wouldn’t even need to read the instructions which just served to confuse. Referring to the same piece by two completely different names reveals that this company is too cheap to hire a good technical writer. And the parts you get are more than what are pictured. because they included something extra: a stabilizer ( as well they should. because its essential to stabilizing the rack so that its not rattling constantly and putting undo wear and tear on the whole unit. not to mention your bikes). But the instructions say the stabilizer is sold separately. and there aren’t anyinstructions for its assembly. (see photo). Anyway. once I figured all of this out. I calmed down. put the thing together and onto the van only to realize that the doors. which swing out to the sides. didn’t clear the rack. If the part that you insert into the hitch had been an inch longer it’d work just fine. Fortunately. other companies make hitch extensions.
Update: I hate this thing. The pins that hold arm up and the rack itself up are really. really hard to insert. They don’t go in straight. have no wiggle room at all if things aren’t lined up perfectly and every single time it takes me several stressful minutes. multiple attempts. and a lot of sweat to insert them.

  73. Howar Bruce

Easy to install you can’t hear it on the freeway going 100 mph

  74. Pearl Collins

Pretty good rack overall. I do need one of the plastic holders replaced. but I couldn’t get it through AMZ help. See picture.

  75. Edward Clarissa

Works. have had 3 adult bikes on it with no problems. Used about 6 times this year.

  76. Noel Roy

This bike rack is perfect for our hybrid camper! It doesn’t come with safety straps. so we bought one separately.

  77. Rebecca Raleign

Very sturdy bike holder that is relatively easy to install and set up. As a reminder this item is quite heavy to be able to hold this many bikes and fold as intended.

  78. Elijah Middleton

I was originally going to buy a more expensive bike rack but I had to wait a month to get it. So. decided to go with this one which was available right away and was cheaper. Do not regret making that decision. It assembles easily. it has nice features to quickly take off the bikes. fold the arms. and take the entire thing apart.

I was concerned about the straps breaking (from other reviews) but haven’t had that issue and they do send you an extra one.

  79. Jacob Evelina

Took three 24″ mountain bikes from Phoenix to Moab and it held up great. Very satisfied with purchase. I only wish the actual rack part sat higher. I wouldn’t recommend this product if you use a 29″ bike or if you have a low clearance vehicle because the bike will hang lower than the car’s bumper and you might risk damaging your bike when hitting a bump.

  80. Genevieve Jeames

Product sturdy. but have to bikes the middle bar are not straight so will have to get creative of hanging the bikes on.

Well worth the price. I’ve had more expensive racks that weren’t nearly as well built. Heavy duty construction and assembly couldn’t be easier. I highly recommend this product.

  82. Nelson Swift

Holds 4 bikes. Accurate. however. extremely frustrating to mount all 4. You have to do some serious maneuvering and jockeying to get them all (4) on. I wouldn’t recommend more than 3. Other than that. GREAT product. I recommend getting a key lock for the pin that goes through the hole in the bike rack/trailer hitch ($15 @ Harbor Freight). Use key lock to unlock every time vs. taking a wrench and removing the bolt. Minor issue: somewhat flimsy unless you attach the bracket (included) to the rack base and hitch. Highly recommend this rack. Easy on. Easy off (with key/lock) Light weight (maybe 10 pounds).

  83. Nigel Charley

    Good bike rack.

  84. Theobald Doherty

Loved this bike rack it is perfect. easy to install. very sturdy. love the bracket that holds the rack to the Hitch so you don’t here any noise.

Dislike. make sure your bike pedals are not close to your car when you put the bikes on. leave room between so your pedals do not gouge your car like I did to mine.

  85. Arno Ramsden

Works great for Mens bikes but when I tried mounting my wife’s bike. it was a little difficult. I made it work but the way most bike racks are setup. it mounts men’s bikes with the top bar very easy. Women’s bikes don’t have the top bar so you will have to angle the bike to make it work. Glad all of us can go biking.

  86. Douglas Ellis

I do not recommend this product. It is supposed to be safe to carry 4 bikes on it which turned out to not be the case. While on the interstate about 45 minutes into the trip I noticed 2 seperate cars passing us honking about something going wrong. We had the bikes on the back of our camper and I wasn’t able to see what was going on. After pulling off to the side of the road. I find out that we lost my 2 sons bikes and mine and my wifes almost did. There was 2 broken strapes and one that completely fell off. I have no idea if someone got into an accident from it and I pray that no one did. Please do not rely on this product for all it claims to be carrying!

  87. Benedict Lynd

It’s ok. A little hard to put the bikes on.

  88. Berg Nora

I bought this for this past Father’s Day for my husband. It’s been on our Subaru since then. It holds bikes really well and it’s easy to get them on and off. The only thing I don’t like about it is the pin that you take out to lower and raise it. For some reason it is a pain in the rear to put back in. I thought I was the one with the problem and just couldn’t line the holes up but my husband also has this problem. Other than that it’s a great bike rake for the price.

  89. Ida Hutt

Never having used a bike rack before I gave it a lesser review a month ago. I take it back works great

  90. Myrna Sander

Very sturdy bike rack and worked well for my car. However the instructions were somewhat confusing and I wish there were some videos available to help. Otherwise once on it’s great and has helped our family get outdoors more!

  91. Noah Holmes

We bought this rack to use for 1-4 bikes. My daughter has one (an Allen brand). and they love the fact that you can fold it down to access the hatch on our Hondas. Her straps are fabric. with a buckle that can be tightened. We ordered this one. thinking it was like hers. The fasteners on this one are made of heavy rubber. with several holes that must be put over a plastic pin to hold each bike in place. We couldn’t get them tight enough for our satisfaction. and they are terribly difficult to hook – my husband secured the bikes – I would not be able to secure a bike on this rack. We’re grateful for walmart Prime – we were able to return this rack and get an “Allen”.

  92. Jonas Amelia

Great bike rack easy to assemble holds 4 bikes no problem great price

  93. Geoffrey Hazlitt

The rack is great. well made. sturdy etc. but it was missing the plate which holds the stabilizer “U” clamp to the hitch

  94. Belinda Conrad

I was in a rush to buy a ($250+) 4 bike hitch rack because I leaving for a trip that didn’t come in and bought this as a “cheap” alternative to just give away or not use because of its cost. To my shock. it was just as described. which thicker metal than cheap China junk. Great power coating. came with the anti-rattle clamp. It doesn’t have the horizontal stabilizers so I just use a rope and bungee cord to keep the 4 bikes from moving around and bam saved over $150.00. I literally was shocked by the price of $99.

  95. Christian Birrell

Easy to assemble. Seems to be well built. Some other reviewers complained it was “heavy”.
Heavy is a good thing when you’re talking about a product made of steel.
Will update if any problems come up.

  96. Hermosa Isaiah

Fits perfect on the back of my camper.

  97. Tracy Maxwell

Bike rack is not small enough to fit any bike smaller than a women’s medium bike. The straps on it will come off as you’re driving. This is a hazard to you and to anyone else on the road. The Allen head screws on this product are rusting after not even a month. This product should not be on walmart.

  98. Ian Nick

I love the versatility and durability.

  99. Stanley Faulkner

Easy to install. My husband regularly installs and takes down to transport bikes

  100. Marico Raphael

It’s a little bit too loose into the hitch. It moves when the bycicles are not on it while i drive.

  101. Ira Berkeley

We purchased this so we could carry our bikes while traveling. Our RV has an added hitch for a bicycle carrier with a hitch slide like this. It worked very well. Our kids bikes are bigger so we only put 3 on here.

  102. Jeffrey Saxton

It was easy to I stall and assembly wasn’t hard at all.onky thing is that it won’t fit with my spare tire.

  103. Edith Freeman

installed on 2021 Durango. the fold away features clears the tailgate with ease. The thing is clunky and wobbly without an anti-rattle clamp so that is an absolute must. four bikes is super super tight. almost impossible. if you have high end bikes expect rubbing and scratches from the other bikes if you plan to use all four spots. also the rubber straps are smaller and depending on you frame thickness or design it could be challenging to affix them.

  104. Nick Shelley

Great product. very sturdy and inexpensive for what it does. This one let you open the trunk and close it with a simple mechanism. If you are going to it occasionally.… You do not need too complicated and expensive rack. This one does have it all

  105. Maud Mackintosh

    Good product

  106. Lambert Clare

Broke after two uses. The bars bent and a bike was falling off on the highway. A passer by flagged us down to tell us a bike was almost off.

  107. Gladys Wheatley

I didn’t like it because we feel bicycles don’t have enough support. I tried to return it but it was too late. Now we have a bike rack that we can’t use and we out $99 plus the insurance

  108. Herman Gard(i)ner

It will b good when we travel

  109. Brian Gissing

Easy to install. durable material. dirt cheap compared with other items out there

  110. Leila Beck

I bought the 4 bike version because it was on sale. I only haul 2 bikes but figured it would be plenty heavy duty that way. The quality seems good. There is some play when loaded but not bad.

When the rack is tilted down. the tailgate does clear the vertical bar with the bikes loaded. This is on my 2015 Ram 3500. The bikes ride really high. That’s the truck’s fault. I might try using my drop down receiver adapter. That will make loading the bikes easier.

So far I like it. We’ll see how long the plastic and rubber parts last in south Texas.

  111. Afra Adolph

I’ve had bike racks before this one. and this one seems to be way more stable than the previous ones I’ve had. The bike doesn’t bounce around at all. which is really nice. I haven’t put 4 bikes on it yet. but I’ve had two full sized adult bikes and they were extremely secure. It also folds up really flat which is nice. When it’s on the vehicle and you don’t have bikes on it. you can fold the arms down. and when you take it off for storage. the whole thing lays very flat so it doesn’t take up a lot of room.

  112. Helen Peter

I got this for our camping trip and it works great. Didn’t load four bike as it was design for but the product hold up well.

  113. Kama Mill

This thing is really solid and also very compact. I am really happy with this purchase. If you have > 2 large size bikes it might be a struggle to fit them all. but I can easily fit two adult hybrid bikes and a small kids bike. I used a locking hitch pin. not the bolt & nut that came with it that would have permanently affixed it to the hitch

  114. Lena Wright

So I have a 2015 F-150. I purchased the 4-bike rack. I loved that it tilted to allow access to the bed. Or so I thought. The rack does not tilt enough to fully open the tailgate of the truck.

So I e-mailed the manufacturer to see if they had any advice or if I could rotate the curved part so that it may allow just a little more clearance. Their response? “It was sold by walmart. not IKURAM. Please contact with the walmart service. they will help you to solve the question.”

After I received this response. I told them that I would write a negative review. hoping that would encourage them to help. IKURAM never responded.

I really wanted to keep this bike rack but if they aren’t willing to answer a simple question. I don’t expect them to stand behind any issues.

  115. Sarah Clement

I purchased this for a couple of pass thru pedal assist bikes. I found out the weight of the bikes and the fact that there is no cross bar makes this rack unusable for my bikes. The rack does seem sturdy and if your riding normal bikes with crossbar not a bad choice.

  116. Curitis Lewis

The worthless rubber straps make owning this bike rack a waste of money. We got back last night from a trip. and found that my beloved mountain bike must have fallen from the rack at some point during our 3 hour drive. There was no warning. and no cause for concern. but the holes in the rubber material just had zero durability. This was the third trip with this rack. Never again will I trust it. I’m terrified to wonder if it caused an accident that we knew nothing about. I’ve been scouring news reports from our trip hoping to not find any terrible news. Hopefully. it ejected the bike in a way that caused it to remove itself from the path of traffic. We were averaging 45 miles per hour with the RV. so hopefully drivers behind me had plenty of opportunity for reaction time at that moment.

  117. Boyd Victor

On trips. we used to rent bikes because other racks were such a hassle (you couldn’t open your back hatch/gate. and then you would have to take the rack off and store it once you reached your destination). Not with this rack – Just fold it down and you can easily open the rear gate.

  118. Nydia Bessemer

Bought to travel with 4 bikes. Could only fit 2. The younger 2 kids bikes couldn’t fit no matter what we tried. Other than that. sturdy and nice.

  119. Cleveland Delia

Very sturdy and the right price. Just wish it came with a lock but you can get one at home depot.

  120. Trista Joseph

    Rusted within 2 weeks.

  121. Darnell Flynn

Value for money. does handle 2-3 bikes well; suitable for short distances; buy high priced better sturdy ones if you intend to go on long travel; I will probably switch to Thule after a year or so

  122. Susie Jimmy

Seems to be pretty sturdy. Have only put 1 bike on it so far. Hard to use the flat wrench thing that came with it to install

  123. Betty Jenny

Overall it’s not a bad product. It’s well built and pretty sturdy. my only problem are the latch down points and the actual mounts the bike rests in. Basic driving can cause the rear of the bike to shift out of the mount even when it is a tight as you can get it. Supplementing it with a bike chain solves this problem. but the velcro mounts on my older bike rack never had that problem.

  124. Brandon Ben

This is made really good the only problem is that is not really for 4 bikes. You can get 3 and they barely fit.

  125. Rod Wolf

Excelente el producto fácil de armar e instalar

  126. Adam Webb

Ok I used this rack for 2 bikes on a 7 hour road trip to a Bend Oregon from Portland. Did do about 30 miles off road also. But had to be cautious and was always worried straps would snap. So the pics show one usage and one strap around wider part of bike was stretched. I won’t use that strap agin. Besides that it held up well.
Directions not good. Easy to assemble anyway.

  127. Alfred Christian

It does not fold down far enough to open trunk. So when using it you lose access to trunk. Now it just sits in my garage. I have to figure out what to do with it

  128. Virgil Aly

    Bad

  129. Clarence Trevelyan

This bike rack is amazing!! We have three kids and have been meaning to buy a family size bike rack that can fit all our bikes. We have a Ford Escape with a hitch and this rack fits perfectly. I think my favorite part of this rack is the tilt-down feature allowing easy access to my trunk without taking all the bikes off. The straps are easy to use and hold the bikes securely. Having the extra straps is also a huge bonus. Lastly. the reflectors are great for safety especially for longer road trips where we are traveling during the night. The only thing that was challenging for us was the fact that we have five people with only four bike slots on the rack. Fortunately our youngest has a very small bike that we were able to secure in between the other bikes on the rack. but this might not work in the long-term.
