  1. Lucy Sheridan

This rack was one of the few that would both support 2 60lb bikes and work with a receiver that is recessed 5” behind the bumper. Tilting feature is easy to use with one hand. Easily adjusts to various bike lengths and heights.

  2. Tyrone Marion

I have an e-bike. large frame. and was worried about finding a rack that would fit. I was also thankful since I DO have mudguards and most racks I found hooked on the tire and not the center of the frame. I also like that it had double locks for each side. The fold and tilt feature is also very handy. especially for putting my heavy bike on it. Overall. great rack and suits my needs very well

  3. Enoch Tuttle

What a great bike rack. I put two 75 lb electric bikes on this rack and it held up perfect. Easy to adjust and fit any bike.

  4. Blake Raman

Fantastic. Quality and ease of use. Love it.

  5. Michaelia O’Neil

Definitely sturdy construction. A little difficult to assemble. Hint you should measure from hub to hub of your bike before mounting brackets. Locks are great. one key for all three locks. Holds bikes firmly. Very little play with the rack.

  6. Angela Thackeray

    Well made and reliable.

  7. Keith Montgomery

Rack is sturdy. My only complaint is that there isn’t any convenient way to secure the bikes with bike locks in order to prevent theft.

  8. Doreen Daniel

Did not like that the rack will not clear the spare tire on the rear of Jeep Wrangler. Thus a 4 rating. Everything else is really great for the price vrs competitors

  9. Michell Leopold

Had son in law who is biker assemble. For
old fart like me would have been a challenge.

  10. Mamie Pullman

I did a fair amount of research on bike racks for my Ford Raptor. I have had no past experience in purchasing any kind of bike rack. The video swayed me to give this one a try. And since walmart offered a free return I thought I could try before I buy. I was very impressed the delivery was on time the packaging instructions were simple and the construction of the bike rack is sturdy and strong. I have 2 E bikes Both weighing 50 pounds each.

  11. Teresa Pound

Assembled in about one hour. seems well designed and very well built. Have not used it yet. still waiting for my receiver hitch to be installed. Looking forward to using it to haul my heavy ebike safely.

  12. Caroline Vincent

This rack tightens up solid to the 2″ Hitch nicely and feels secure throughout the rack using the threaded pin that comes with it. The Hooks also hold down the bikes securely + the wheel straps and big strap enhances that secure feeling. We put 2 Ebikes on it yes we took the heavy batteries off of the bikes for safety reasons anyway although I feel it would have been fine. Our 2 bikes together were about 120 lbs and no problems at all. The lock on hitch helps you feel a little better against thieves as well as one hook has a lock. They would help but. if someone wanted your bikes bad enough you know. I am pretty happy with this rack but only have used it a couple of tines. I believe it is a solid bike rack.

  13. Allen Ackerman(n)

This bike rack. in my opinion. is a little pricey. But I will also say that you generally get what you pay for. Assembly was not a problem and all features worked as advertised. The anti wobble feature is OUTSTANDING! When everything is locked down you just can’t detect any movement in the receiver. You can grab the tung of the rack and move it up and down and also side to side without any noticeable slack or noise in the receiver. It’s like the thing is welded up solid in the receiver. NICE! Would not hesitate referring this bike rack to a friend or family member.

  14. Ford Mond

Had the rack for 6 months. was using it and noticed hinged vertical bar that has the hooks attached to it had started to bend back significantly at point near hinge. I took bikes off. and found it easily bent back.. The bar was crimped and ready to break off! Very close to loosing both e-bikes. This must be reinforced!

  15. Isabel Christiana

This bike rack is exactly as advertised: sturdy. easy to install. safe and secure. I’ve owned it for almost a year and use it to transport a regular commuter and a much heavier ebike as we move from Florida to Canada and back each season. I’ve never heard so much as a rattle from the rig over all those thousands of miles and the bikes always come off the rack in the same condition as when they were loaded. As thrilled as I was with my purchase. my satisfaction went up exponentially when I recently contacted for help with a part I had foolishly lost. Customer service is handled strictly via email. but the response was nearly instantaneous and the missing part was delivered in less than a week. no charge and no questions asked! Outstanding support! I will be buying from again and again and recommend them unreservedly!

  16. Roberta Carpenter

Very solid rack. very secure and easy to use.

  17. Jean Dryden

Love it. It goes on my 2014 Wrangler. because I knew the gate was not going to open it was important that install and removing was easy. It is. Folds op nicely. Great locking features. Securely holds my two e bikes 65lbs each. Fair price for well made product. how things used to be.

  18. Astrid DuBois

I don’t do walmart reviews anymore because I wrote a negative review and they wouldn’t publish it. I’m giving this 4 stars because it seems to be great but I haven’t actually put it on my car with my bike because of the weather.

  19. Derrick Scott

Just one criss member but guess it’s strong enough.

  20. Ralap Bright

Very easy to use. Locks and is sturdy

  21. Benson Gill

Very pleased with this carrier. easy to load and unload.
No bounce at all while travelling. highly recommend.

  22. Elvis Bowman

I like the various features including future use for E bikes and the lock down bar that holds the bike in place on the frame securely.

  23. Solomon Hodge

Excellent quality very happy with this!

  24. Michael Bartlett

Heavier than I expected. Rock solid is what I wanted.

  25. Gill Rayleign

I bought an ebike which required buying a hitch mount bike rack because of the weight. I was surprised at the cost of these racks which included having a hitch installed. So I was glad to find a highly rated rack at a good price. The rack was fairly easy to install and get the bike onto. I did have to buy a bike frame adapter bar which I found at a local bike store. The bike rides smoothly and securely and I’m happy to be able to transport my bike!

  26. Delia Effie

Took me about 39 min to assemble. solid steel and very sturdy when in the hitch. Make sure to tighten the wheel holds when the bikes are not on the rack or you will have to keep adjusting. Over all great purchase for our Lectric XP 2.0 bikes!

  27. Steward Snow

    Wonderful bike rack. Quality product.

  28. Adair Saroyan

The True Fat Tire Bike Rack! Easy to put together and Is Super Sturdy with the Anti-Wobble Feature! Well Done!!!!
I purchase a cheaper priced one and was disappointed. SPEND THE MONEY!!! ITS WORTH IT!!!

  29. Doris Daisy

    Overall a good product!

  30. Maxine Kathleen

Really like this bike rack. Well made. tilts easily. meets or excels all my expectations! Highly recommend!

  31. Reginald Wyclif(fe)

    Holds bike safe and steady

  32. Shirley Marlowe

We took two ebikes on a cross country RV trip where they sat on the rack for at least 60 hours. This performed exceedingly well. Very secure when using the top bar. tire straps and the safety strap. Locking feature at the hitch and with the upper bar works great as well. Worth every penny. Small tear in one of the pieces of foam protecting the top bar but largely cosmetic and didn’t affect function

  33. Bevis Bernard

    Loved everything

  34. Jay Nehemiah

Just hauled my heavy ebike 1.400 miles with absolutely no issues. Secure and stable! Easy slide into hitch receiver and easy disconnect. Bike was relatively easy to load and unload. I am 72. Very sturdy and well made carrier. Recommend for ebike. Mine is a HIMIWAY.

  35. Edison I.

Above and beyond expectations. Real bonus the two points that can be locked. one to the hitch (so assembly cannot be removed). other push down mount for the bikes.

  36. Hilary Gallup

Supply your own locking system. Use both.

  37. Celeste Ernest

Great product. seems strong. decent but not high security locks. simple easy assembly instructions. Installed on my Jeep. but have to wonder why it can’t go on my motorhome? Using with my Lectric bikes.

  38. Louis Cocker

18 months so far..grat rack ..great customer service…needed another key..great response(although as of this review.will need to wait for key..)

  39. Josephine Gabriel

This bike rack is solid and well made. Easy to load the bikes and easy to tilt and fold up. I feel very secure with the bikes on this rack. Relatively easy to put together and they responded very quickly with a question I had.

  40. Ingemar Walpole

Very well made! Very sturdy and strong. I have it configured in a one bike version but carry the rest to turn it in to a two bike rack if needed. Racks is as described. folds up nicely and pivots down and out of the way when needed. The anti-wobble feature is nice even with my 55lb bike. Highly recommended!

  41. Mary Walton

I had an issue with a part that I damaged and this company was very responsive and took care of my problem. It is a great rack made by a great company

  42. Erin Samson

Once we figured out the locking system. this bike rack works great for our ebikes!

  43. Theodore Ivan

Found the Overdrive K2 to meet all of my requirements. Needed to transport 2 60lbs bikes and felt this one would do the job and it has. There are a number of carriers on the market but this one is Kick Ass!

  44. Theresa Duncan

I have traveled 6.000+ miles with this rack on my Model Y. The rack is good and works as advertised for my 60 pound e bike. I borrowed a similar pin from a friend. I contacted and received no response. i cannot find a replacement on walmart.

  45. Dunn Dutt

It is quite a challenge trying to decipher some of the instructions but once that’s mastered. the product quality and tech support are outstanding. The rack arrives with some extra parts (if you can believe it) which is mostly unheard of lately. The quality is excellent; sturdy. with no noticeable defects. Parts fit together well but one needs to be patient and wade slowly through the instructions.

  46. Jonathan Tours

The bike carrier is exactly what we were looking for and has more than met our needs. In the future. we will be purchasing e-bikes and this carrier will accommodate the new additions as well as what we now have. Thanks..

  47. Agatha Leonard

This thing is solid. Works well with my ebike. no movement. I had my dealer install on my trailer hitch. worth it. I’m very happy with this rack.

  48. Rose Temple

Me ebike (75 lbs)was too heavy for the rack. The wheel holder cracked. I’m going to remove the battery from now on.

  49. York Becher

    Easy directions.

  50. Baron Carmen

Very sturdy but way too heavy to place in hitch and to remove. more than 50 lbs. Must lift bike more than 3.5 ft in air so that wheel s clear & even higher to use the rack closest to the car. The user should be a very tall and hearty person.

  51. Grover III.

    Will carry two electric bicycles

  52. Hunter Houston

I’m pleased with the security of the rack

  53. Lisa Sophia

Velcro straps are to short in my opinion. that’s why I only gave it four stars

  54. Lucien Edie

Bought this rack for 2 Lectric XP 65 lb bikes. Says RV use prohibited but must not apply to a Motorhome. This rack is solid and carries the 130 lbs of 2 electric bikes with ease. Bikes are very secure and worry free hauling. Pricey but worth the cost if you plan to use them often. Have used them on 2 trips and all was well. Invest in a 2 bike waterproof cover for the electric bikes. You’ll be set.

  55. Winni Hope

Easy peezy and safe. Great product

  56. Cedric May

We haul two Super73’s. Great build quality. easy to assemble. big fan here

  57. Alberta Hamilton

I haven’t taken a run any long trips yet. But it seems sturdy enough to survive along ride.

  58. Webster Burne-Jones

Easy to assemble and to use

  59. Ophelia Eveline

For the price. this rack isn’t as high quality as those you can get from the big brands (kuat. Thule. yakima). The bars that hold the bike in place are not quick to adjust and are padded with foam that I don’t think will last. Also the attachment points on the bike aren’t ideal since they touch the frame. If you want something that is easier for loading and unloading as well as more durable. I’d look elsewhere.

  60. Eugene Piers

Update 3/3/2021 – A couple of days ago a truck backed into the rack and bent and broke a couple of parts. I reached out to to see if I could replace what got broken to keep this guy’s out of pocket as low as possible and the support was outstanding. When it’s time to get a new one or if I have to recommend a good friend a good bike rack I have not doubt I’ll point to .
    —–
The rack is very easy to assemble and works great with one or two bikes. I had mine for over 6 months and drove on freeways and off-road without any problem. Couldn’t be happier for the choice I made. Highly recommended.

  61. Claire Juliana

Easy to put the bikes on and take them off. Easy to fold and bring down. It is very solid.

  62. Belle Palmer

Love the anti wobble -very stable for the e-bikes

  63. Merlin Noah

Terrific item. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. Easy to use. I love it.

I have one other thing to add. Not only is this product amazing. but so is the Customer Service. You know how you can tell a company that is truly exceptional? They stand behind their product. no questions asked. That’s exactly what they did—even when they were right and I was wrong. When I assembled this product (which was a snap) I failed to notice that my 7-year old grandson had picked up the locking mechanism and put it in another room. When I completed the assembly. I realized I was missing the lock. Two careful examinations of the boxes and plastic parts bags failed to turn it up. So. I sent the seller a message through the walmart portal explaining the lock was missing and asking if they would be able to send me another one. In short order. they responded. they apologized and said they would send me another one right away.

Having found the lock in the interim (and having sent a follow-on message to the seller through the walmart portal that the seller must not yet have received) I was hopefully able to “head them off at the pass” with an email responding to the seller’s email in which I apologized to them and explained what happened to the lock that had. in fact. been properly included all along.

But what a Class Act they were. They have a lifelong customer in me.

  64. Geraldine Emily

Great customer support for replacement parts.

  65. Valentine Bessie

The rack appears quite sturdy. I am returning because the button on the center post that you push in to lower the middle arm (the one with the clamp on it) stuck badly and i was unable to get it to release the arm consistently. This is esp hard when loading the bike when it is necessary to tilt the center post to the left or right to allow loading of the bike. The button just didnt work well and at times i couldnt get it to release the arm at all.

  66. Taylor Gold

Easy to put together and fit nice on back of my Toyota Tacona pick up

  67. Nicole Kelsen

Did a lot of research to find this bike rack. Had a 1.25″ hitch mounted platform bike rack and was never comfortable with the strength of the smaller square tube holding up my 2 expensive bikes on the highway. I know they may be strong. but this 2″ model is built solid. It’s strong and engineered well. I no longer watch the sway of the bikes in my rear view mirror. The tilt and lock features are awesome for travel. however. because I am a safety nut. I still bike lock the bikes to the bike rack when away from them. Very happy with my purchase.

  68. Truda Giles

This item did not fit nor allows gate opening. I will be returning it. Would like instructions and return label

  69. Florence Meredith

I bought this because of the fold up options and it does not disappoint. folds up very compact when not in use and I can still get in the bed of my truck.

  70. Ferdinand Tomlinson

Lock feature is great. Easy enough to assemble but it’s very heavy and a little awkward to store.

  71. Alexia Betsy

I have a 50 pound e-Bike. and this rack is a solid. excellent carrier. Barely moves at all. I am confident carrying my $6000+ investment safely and confidently. I would highly recommend this bike rack.

  72. Morgan

This is not a light-weight rack. It is heavy duty and strong enough for EBikes. If you have an EBike. pay attention to the weight limits for the cheaper racks. Also. keep in mind that you paid a lot of money for your bikes and a rack failure could be a costly disaster.

The rack is reasonably easy to assemble. And it is also easy to adjust and fold up when not in use. Loading and unloading the bikes is simple. This rack clears the spare tire on the back of my Honda CR-v.

I was especially impressed that they sent a few spare parts (intentionally according to the manual). I received an extra receiver pin. reflector. and few other things that could get lost or broken.

Update after 17 months: Rack still working great. Used many times. I did lose one of my keys. I reached out to customer support and they sent me replacement keys at no charge. Great customer service!

  73. Verna Nelly

We like our K2 Overdrive rack! There aren’t many options for the weight of multiple e-bikes on a hitch rack. so this was it for us. The rack did have some slack when initially installed. You can tighten it and take up that slack by unweighting the rack and adjust the hardware on the receiver. Rack was then solidly attached to the car. Our e-bikes have 2.6″ tires and weigh 50 lbs each. and they seated nicely in the tire cradles. I removed the bike battery just to shave off some of the weight and have an easier time getting them on the rack. We have one step-thru bike that required use of the crossbar in order to secure the bike to the rack. If you need to put a “girls” bike on this rack. you will need this crossbar. The bar was purchased separately. It is simple. good quality and easy to use. The bar goes on the girls bike and attaches at the stem and the seat post to serve as a crossbar. This gives the rack something to pull down on. You still *MUST* use tie down straps to secure the bikes to the rack. You’ve come this far. don’t skip this easy step. You don’t want to see your bikes on the street in your rearview mirror. We always use ratcheted tie downs to secure the bike to the rack and those bikes are solidly attached and one with the car. It is total peace of mind when we hit a pothole. a dip. a speed bump – that those bikes aren’t going anywhere. A few last things… if you have backup sensors. they kinda go bonkers with the rack on. When the rack is folded up and not in use. it still adds a good footprint to the back of your car. I was always a little leery of people backing into it or walking into it. when parked in a parking lot. Especially when it’s dark. you just cannot see the rack on the car at all. I purchase some neon green reflective tape from walmart and added it in blocks and strips to the bike rack in several places. I highly suggest doing this to your rack too. Luckily it isn’t a big deal to remove the rack and put it away when not in use for extended periods of time.

  74. Arlen Hosea

I have a Jeep Wrangler JKU with 35 inch tires. and this rack couldn’t fit any better. Very satisfied with purchase.

  75. Roderick Sassoon

Great bike rack for e-bikes. E-bikes are heavier and this bike rack is rated for heavy bikes.

  76. Duke Boyle

For the price you should get a lot more… two most important things I had issues with; 1- you can’t use the lock on a standard 2″ Tacoma hitch (bolt isn’t long enough to pass though. and they don’t offer any other sizes) which really sucks if you have a nice bike it’ll be easy to walk off with mount and your bike. 2- the tilt feature is pretty useless if you have a midsize truck. You can’t open the tailgate without it slamming onto the top of the mount. I will say though it is much sturdier that the last one I bought.

  77. Jamie Paul

Seems to work well I like it for my electric bikes

  78. Humphrey Edith

This rack is constructed with precision and quality. It has a unique tongue locking mechanism that prevents the typical “chatter” and swaying in the hitch. It comes with velcro straps for each tire and a long strap to wrap around both bikes to keep them on the carrier. I added four additional Boncas (https://www.walmart.com/gp/product/B07W41J1JV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) velcro straps to secure the bikes together and to the rack. The bikes did not move the entire trip. This is a great bike carrier. Finally. I used a Schwinn (https://www.walmart.com/gp/product/B00MBBVUNM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1) locking cable to ensure my bikes would be there when I came back. It all worked together perfectly. Highly recommend this bike carrier.

  79. Woodrow Helin(a)

I LOVE this hitch. I have a couple of Sondors MXS ebikes. They are heavy (65 pounds). I load them by flipping down the vertical bar. reaching over the bike frame to grab it front and rear. and lifting it up so the tires are out away from. Then I just place them in the tire mounts.
The clamps work for the MXS just right. I compress the bike so there isn’t too much travel with the air shocks.
I have two fairly minor recommendations for the manufacturer:
    1. Create an easier way to depress the release for the vertical bar (It folds down for loading and storage).
    2. More padding on the clamps

    But overall. 5 stars anyway.

  80. Ina Russell

After less than two years. the locking feature is broken and can’t get my bikes off the bike rack without destroying the lock. So my bikes are stuck on the rack while I’m 600 miles from home on vacation. I would buy another except the rack has nearly DOUBLED in price in less than two years! I paid $219 in November 2019. I figured but another and keep the old broken one for spare parts… But over $300! No way…

  81. Tess Baldwin

This carriers one strap was not good enough for me on a long trip. A small ratchet strap took its place.

  82. Jane Ward

The bike rack works great for our 2 ebikes. I like that is is for a 2″ hitch and it is very well made. sturdy. solid and great quality.

  83. Francis Jones

With all the scratches I’m concerned that the rack will rust. Also the reflector broke as soon as I took it out of the package. It came with a replacement reflector so I swapped that out.

Update: Bike rack did rust in less than a few months. Its also really hard to get the bike on and off of the rack closest to the car

  84. Burke Milne

I did not like how heavy it was and the fact that it did not fold to a smaller shape. but it really does function well! I recommend it! It holds my ebikes. but I always remove the battery to ease up on the weight.

  85. Jessie Gladstone

My sister and I used this rack to transport our Ebikes on the back of our camper van. We are both seniors and find this easy to use. My son-in-law installed it in minutes. Sure is making travel and retirement more enjoyable.

  86. Mike Spenser

    Works great for me.

  87. Maggie Lawrence

This rack is so secure and easy to use. My ebike is heavy and this rack allows me to put it on. The ability to lean the rack away from the car comes in handy when I’m putting things in the cargo area. I misplaced my key and contacted the seller. They responded back to me within hours and am sending a replacement. I have faith in this business and the product. Well done.

  88. Penny Hopkin(s)

Great. strong. and sturdy rack system for heavy bikes. Just to load the bikes on the racks must require heavy lifting and that is the only down side to the racks. since the center post only moves from side to side for storage and not for mounting bikes.

  89. Murphy Willard

Like a lot about this rack except that the finish is not a true powdercaot. After 2 weeks and a couple days of rain. it is showing signs of rust at the weld joints and the screw hole. I have to assume the the inside steel tubing will be rusting as well. Not sure whether to return the item or buy lots of rustoleum to keep the rust at bay. Also the plastic end cap keeps falling off. Should be made of rubber. not hard plastic. I will probably reconsider paying more for a similar rack that is powder-coated.

  90. Warner Henry

    I happy with my purchase

  91. Mona Locke

I purchased this particular rack because it is rated for carrying heavier bikes (e.g.. e-bikes). Assembly is fast and easy. thanks to good instructions and manufacturing tolerances – the pieces slide together with no problems. I’m still awaiting my e-bike. so haven’t tried the rack on the road. but everything appears to be of lasting quality.

  92. Yetta O’Connor

this was easy to assemble and appears to be quite sturdy. im using it on a 2019 Grand Cherokee and im using it to haul my ebike(Juiced Scorpion). because of the design of the ebike not having a crossbar I had to buy the crossbar carrier by so that i could lock the ebike down with the center grab bar… the only note i have is i’m using the rack closest to the car to carry the ebike and in order to clear the center grab bar i have to take it off completely because you cannot fold it down with it on as it wont clear the bike when on the rack.. i think its just the simple design of the rack not giving you an option to slide. twist or move it out of the way without having to take it completely off. otherwise the rack seems sturdy enough to carry my ebike. the tilt feature does help with accessing trunk and loading the bike… overall seems fine and pretty sturdy.. after one trip upon inspection on arrival at our destination. the bike rack still appeared to be secure at the hitch and the bike was still securely locked down on the rack.. so im feeling pretty confident about this bike rack.. also my ebike is prob 100 pounds..

  93. Cheryl Gunther

If you are going to invest serious dollars into ebikes. do you really want to trust a $99 hang off the back window bike rack? Each of my bikes weigh about 65-70 pounds loaded up. We just took a 800 mile trip and it was just like the bikes were not there. No hassle at all. Locks work great. Just make sure not to ram your leg into it. Very well built.

  94. Adonis Dobbin

Very good price easy to assemble excellent quality

  95. Beacher Jasper

Assembly was easy and quality throughout.

  96. Gwendolyn Mark

Tightens into the hitch very securely so it doesn’t rattle at all. Easy to assemble and once you set it up you can throw your bikes on quickly and your gone.

  97. Mirabelle Louise

Hitch is solid. The instructions are about as simple to follow as anything I’ve put together recently. Look for the video on Youtube to familiarize yourself and you’ll have no trouble.

Theoretically. you need the available crossbar to mount a stepthru bike like my RadRunner. But I was able to move the wheel holders all the way to one side and attach the hook for the inner mounting area to the rear frame. When I mount a second RadRunner. I’ll need the device so I’ll go ahead and order it. But this summer I’m only going to carry one bike. so won’t need it right away.

I am in my late 60s and am still able to mount the rack and load the 60 lb bike myself. Inserting the rack (50 lbs) is no big deal. but I really should get someone to help me load the bike. In a couple of years I probably won’t be able to do it so easily.

I’ll update the review once I put the rack on the road. but I anticipate no problems. The thing is sturdy and it mounts solidly.

  98. Gustave Hardy

I really like the fact I don’t have to have additional locks for my bicycles. Have taken it on a couple trips so far and it works very well.

  99. Julia Johnson

Easy to assemble. Holds my e-bike well. Folds up when not in use. I am happy with my purchase.

  100. Dawn Sara(h)

Wasn’t heavy weight enough for our E bikes

  101. Spring Bryan

Holds two fat tire bikes just fine!

  102. Quincy Rusk

This fits fine on my CRV. and is very stable. It’s fairly easy to load my ebikes. I found that it’s easier to load the inside ebike when I tilt the unit down first. then raise it into position to laod the second ebike.

  103. Pamela Moore

Pros – easy assembly and a stout frame.
Cons – First ride with the bikes on the rack was about a 2 hour trip. total weight of the bikes about 90 lbs. The rack had worked itself loose from the car hitch. locking pin not even hand tight. Anti-wobble does not appear to be working as designed. Bought a hitch tightener and had much better results on the second trip.
Not sure yet – I am concerned about the durability of the clamp mechanism on the “J hooks”. Just doesn’t feel well made/durable.

  104. Vita MacAdam

Works well. need to be quite close to post to reach. but adequate.

  105. Walker Arnold

Best buy I’ve ever made. customer service and quality of the product is so far top notch!!!

  106. Lorraine Arabella

Broken knob upon opening of box

  107. Dennis Hudson

bought this rack for my ebikes since it was rated for 60lb bikes. Hoping for a solid. safe. carrier that I wouldn’t have to worry about wobbling and shaking around with the weight of the bikes. Unfortunately this rack was no different than other cheaper ones I tried. Used it one time but was after the return window. so now I am stuck with an inferior product

  108. Chester Isabel

This bike rack for e-bikes is solid built and was easy to assembly. It arrived in one big box and everything was well packed and protected. Instructions are clear with excellent descriptions and diagrams. All the little bags with fasteners are labeled and some spares are included. The included wrenches are just basic tools but did the job. Using a open end wrench makes assembly easier if you have one. Loading an e-bike is a bit challenging since they are lot heavier than a regular sports bike. I wonder if this rack can be made a bit lower such that you don’t have to lift 50 to 65 pounds that high up. Works great with a 2″ hitch with a locking anti-wobble feature. E-bikes will fit just fine with proper adjustments of the sliding wheel holders. The only problem I had was when I backed my car out with the rack and my e-bike that all my rear avoidance sensors went off like a fire engine. But at least I can live with that for a short moment.

  109. Prudence Boswell

We love this bike rack for our Rad River fat tire bikes. It is strong and easy to use and the price was right. We looked at many but happy we decided on this one.

  110. Ives Pigou

i have been waiting to purchase the ratchet version of this bike rack. but given the limited availability. i went with this one. i used it once and it works great. i have 2 ebikes and the rack held them tight on the highway on back roads. the ebikes are step thru versions and with a second short hook i will be able to mount both by myself. i contacted the seller and they are shipping me a second short hook free of charge. Great customer service and a quality product. i would purchase this bike rack again from this seller.

  111. Hugo Orlando

Bought this carrier for my two e-bikes. Although they explicitly tell you not to use for e-bikes. I feel very comfortable with this unit. It is quite heavy leading to a very rugged carrier. Getting it on and off the 2 inch receiver is nearly a two person job (at least for this 73 year old!). requiring a wrench to undo the locking mechanism.
Overall. very happy with this unit and much better than all previous carriers I’ve had over the years.

  112. Enid Goldsmith

Heavy duty rack. It fits our two Ecotric Hammers great. Easy to assemble. But it is big like all racks for ebikes. so keep that in mind for storage.

  113. Dale Garcia

I promptly lost the key to the lock which was replaced promptly and no hassle. Besides being a great bike rack the customer service is excellent

  114. Abel Harrington

After a lot of research on a rack that would hold my 2-55lb e-bikes. I’m so glad I found this one! It’s very heavy duty & when driving does not wobble back & forth. My only difficulty was getting the hitch lock to fit. the bolt is not long enough to engage the lock. Maybe my Subaru hitch is too thick? Anyhow I’m overall very happy I found this heavy duty hitch for such a great price.

  115. Ernest Josh

    Easy to use with ebikes.

  116. Bowen Bush

Perfect for my e bike it’s very easy to put together seems pretty stable I just wish they had a better security bolt for the hitch pin but other than that it’s a solid rack

  117. Nathan James

Bike rack is easy to put together; however. three months into using it. lock popped somewhere on our road trip. Trying to find a replacement lock.

  118. Martina Commons

Bikes have not been delivered yet. but unit seems VERY solid. Drove around with it in the storage position and flat position. still seems very solid. Will add to review when I get the bikes. Did have a minor problem when assembling (was my fault) customer service was EXCELLENT ??

  119. Elvira Steele

Very happy with this rack! Easy to assemble and mount to my SUV. I have an Aventon Aventure step through fat tire e-bike and it fits like they were made for each other. Very well made. attaches easily and locks in with no wobble. Bike is very secure with the locking padded hook arms that will not scratch my new bike.
    Excellent price. excellent product.

  120. Archibald Antoinette

I wanted a 2 inch receiver heavy duty bike rack.
I wanted a quality. rack that tilted and didn’t want a rack with bikes that wobbled. so I spent big bucks on this one and after owning it and using it for months all I can say its well worth the money.
I recently lost an end cap and contacted the company asking them if they can send me a new end cap.
They asked for a picture of the cap in question and after they received it. they also noticed another part that had cracked (which I didn’t notice) and sent me 4 end caps and 4 of the plastic parts that was cracked. Got it in 2 days.
What great customer service. Thank you !!!!!!

  121. Bella Grace

Well would have given 5 stars. however all parts not shipped with product. Been talking to Customer service. but still no hitch pins. that allow me to lock rack to receiver. Been a week since original deliver. We shall see.

  122. Cora Vaughan

The bike rack is Rock Solid. Stable. Easy to Assemble with Great Customer Service…. A Great Combo and Value.

  123. Kimberley Morley

My big concern was if this item would support my two Rad E-bikes. At ~70 lbs. each. that is a lot of weight. Also it said not for RV use. whatever that really means.

Assembly was manageable. The weight of the rack. which is high. made this a tiny bit cumbersome. but worth it.
First trip in our Camper Van. 7 nights. 1200 miles and zero problems. I can make no suggestions on how to improve this rack. Also the “anti shake” mechanism is brilliant. Buy it. I doubt you will be disappointed.

  124. Jodie Hobbes

I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of people about what rack to purchase for my mountain bike. A lot of the advice I was given was that you get what you pay for. In spite of that advice. I took a chance and purchased this rack for my bike. WOW! I am VERY impressed with the quality and service I have received from brands. This rack was super simple to put together and it is very stable and functional. I like how you can tilt the rack down and still access a hatchback or bed of your truck while the bike is still mounted. Very handy! I especially like the built-in lock on the sliding arm to secure the bike. Contacting the company was super easy and the support staff were quick to respond and handle any questions I had. I had lost one of the locking arms on my rack and they were super nice and sent me another one right way. World-class customer support here!

  125. William Humphr(e)y

Love this rack. I have a Hollywood rack and it’s not as heavy duty as this one.

  126. Zachary Raglan

    Sturdy and well made.

  127. Victor Richard

We LOVE our new bike rack! Easy to install. very sturdy and works just as we’d hoped! Holds bikes very securely.

  128. Chasel Browne

This is a good. solid bike rack. It was very easy to set up. It holds the bikes securely with no wobble.

  129. Zara Wilde

This works like a charm. We use it for two ebikes that each weigh 60lbs plus!

  130. Kelly Priestley

This product was just what I needed. Easy to hook up and load my bikes.

  131. Juliet Macaulay

Very good and sturdy. Good instructions and easy to put together.

  132. Yehudi Richardson

I like almost everything about this rack- it is easy to assemble and operate and the bikes fit nicely with very little wobble. The only problem is that when fitted to a Tesla Y with the factory hitch. it is not possible to lock the rack to the car. The lock is too long and the key access is blocked by the hitch harness. This is not the fault of the rack per se. but a shorter lock. or an angled key would take care of it.

  133. Burgess Silas

I love it.. Very versatile. I am concerned how long I can maneuver it as it is quite heavy. But great for my ebike.

  134. Beatrice Doris

Bought this for my wife to haul her e-bike. She loves it. which is all that matters. Very simple to put together. No missing parts. Everything needed was provided. Didn’t need any tools. Works well. Whoever made this thing has it well thought out. Very sturdy. Doesn’t bounce or move or wiggle much. Very secure. I like that it comes with locks that lock both the bike to the carrier and the carrier to the hitch.

  135. Barbara Shakespeare

we have two bikes works great.

  136. Jeff Hubbard

Strong enough for two electric bikes. Double locks so feel safe leaving bikes on rack at hotels. Would purchase again

  137. Antony Funk

Very easy to assemble. install. and use. Very sturdy. very well made.

  138. Pag Nathaniei

I have 2 ebikes with the fat tires this rack works great with them. Easy to load and unload. Easy to set up. This is a great bike rack for the bikes.

  139. Hubery Bertram

Great bike rack. Even better customer service. It seems like good customer service is a lost art. Outsourcing. poor training. and abusive customers have made it so that when you need help it can be hard to even get in touch with the company. Well I am thankful that has exceeded all of my expectations in this regard. In all honesty. I bought their hike rack because it was less expensive than the other ones available for our heavy electric bikes. I was very pleased that it was easy to assemble. install and use. After almost a year I backed into a tree and damaged part of the rack. It was all my fault. Nothing about the rack caused the accident. This happened at the worst possible time. right before we were leaving for a trip with the bikes. Lucky for me the customer service agent I worked with sent me replacement parts free of charge and very quickly and what could have been a ruined vacation because of my mistake was saved. Small acts of competence and kindness to such a long way. I will remain a loyal customer for life.

  140. Miles Ted

    Easy setup
    Love the locking features
    Easy to use
    Love it

  141. Yvette Fox

Super duper easy to put together. absolutely love it. Folds up when not in use. folds down for access to hatch. Keeps my bike on my car so I’m not limited where I’d like to go ride. Kinda shakes over bumps sometimes. the bike is completely secured. it’s the rack itself that is moving a little. Would like to reduce that a little. but otherwise super pleased with my purchase. Well made.

  142. Linda Trollpoe

    I have used this for 2 years now. Info for you to consider;

Like others. I almost lost my ebike on the freeway. when the cheap hook twist clamp came loose and moved up the verticle bar. That caused the bike to fall out of the hook. Fortunately I had secured the bike with ratchet straps as well. Saved the bike from falling to the ground. Damaged the gel coat on the rear of the trailer from the brake levers scraping against the body before I could pull over. Saw it happen in the backup camera on the RV.

To fix this I bought some ball detent 1/4″ pins. mounted and set the clamps tight and marked for the 1/4″ holes for the pins in the vertical bar. After I mount and attach the clamps. I slide the pin thru the bar. That prevents the clamp from rising up the bar and coming loose. The ball in the pin prevents it from coming out.

Another word to the wise…..always use tie downs when transporting your bikes on any rack.

  143. Stacey Monroe

Our two Lectric ebikes fit perfectly on this unit. We have 1 step thru ebike that works on the front side of the rack. Our standard XP2 fits on the backside with no problems. Well built. sturdy on the road. and priced competitively compared to other models.

  144. Avery Cromwell

This was super easy to assemble. It has several locking mechanism’s on it. this gives me more peace of mind. I have yet to use it. by just the look’s alone I em very confident my e bikes will have no problem. Thank’s Dane.

  145. Matt Hal

I really like it and it works great for two fat tire e-bikes (4″ tires). I actually returned a Thule Easyfold and bought this one instead. My only gripe is the way the center post folds up and down. I have to remove the brackets that hold the bikes in place and then fold the bar down to get the bike closest to the vehicle up on the rack. Then when the bike is up in place I have to push the button to release the bar to bring it back up. and that’s hard to do when your by yourself. But I do manage to do it and then put the bracket back on the bar and anchor the bikes in place. I would have given five stars if not for this slight drawback. Don’t get me wrong. it’s really doable. just a bit of a pain. The picture makes it look like the bikes stick out. but that’s really not the case. It’s just the bikes are close to the camera.

  146. Archer Symons

At first I was a little upset about having to assemble the carrier. But it turned out to be easy with clear instructions. It is heavy but it does the job as described. It is easy to use. Sturdy and safely carries my heavy electric bike.

  147. Colbert Congreve

The bike lock is stuck in place and will not move after I unlocked it. It is completely stuck and I had it for less than 60 days. This is not a quality product and would not recommend. I am very disappointed that there was no warranty or way to get this issue resolved after I spent over $400 two months ago on this. This has been a total money suck for something that is so cheaply made. I am so dissatisfied with this product.

  148. Barlow Milton

    High quality for the price.

  149. Parker Benson

We love this rack because it’s well built and easy to use. The only issue we have is the locking pin on our trunk receiver was not long enough to fit the lock. Other people have also made this comment. I tried contacting the makers multiple times but have never gotten a response. Seems like this is something they could address to make this a great rack system.

  150. Esther Black

Great product. Very sturdy. Would buy again.

  151. Kenneth Aldington

This platform rack is solid!!! Easy to install. Took a trip from SF CA. to Pasadena CA about 350 miles on Hi 5 at 75 mph speed added 2 velcro straps on both wheels and 2 more bungees on the frame and it was so stable no wobble. Although. I only used 1 platform for my ebike.

  152. Bob

I bought the bike rack for 2 electric bikes [the bikes are about 60lbs each] The bike rack is easy to put together however there is ZERO flexibility as it’s just one huge chunk of metal! It takes up alot of space in the garage! Once the holder is in place. by the way you have to bolt and unnolt after each use which is beyond annoying! Once you figure out how to place the bikes you must place the bikes in EXACTLY how you had them previously or it won’t work out. There is no way to easily place the bikes on the rack. Be prepared for SEVERAL fingers to be smashed on multiple occasions. To boot my vehicle doesn’t go in reverse with the bike rack on it which makes finding parking to bike is challenging. Honestly I’d love to return this item gladly. it sucks that bad but I already threw away the box. One big hunk of junk and very over priced.

  153. Clyde Carl

All the lock does is disconnected the handle from the clamp. so when this breaks. you’ll have a we bit of trouble getting the bar off. However. a couple of good tugs and your in business. As for the velcro staps that hold the tires on. I was expecting rubber ones that were mounted. this straps are not mounted and easily slip off.

  154. Salome Joule

I love the features and quality of this rack. The only problem I have is getting the 2 different size bikes to line up properly. I have a 26″ fat tire bike and my wife has a 24″ mountain bike. I tried so many different configurations to get them to line up. I was left with 2 options: either have a wheel sticking way out beyond the side of my SUV or remove the seat of my bike to make room for her handlebars. Ultimately. I opted to remove my seat. since the other option just seems a bit unsafe.

  155. Kristin Bowen

Tremendous value. Very sturdy and extremely easy to load bikes.

  156. Lewis McCarthy

I have two e-bikes (approx 80lbs each. one extra long and one with fat tire). Needed a carrier quick for my trip from TX to FL. I was nervous the first few hours of the trip about the weight and the tilt mechanism failing. I backed it up with my own strap but never appeared to need that. The carrier did great. HOWEVER: I drive an F250 with 2-1/2″ received hitch. This product is only usable with their hitch pin (it threads in. tightening for wobble) but this pin won’t fit a 2-1/2″ receiver (too short). I had to by an adaptor extension and then use the rack. I was nervous about this and it was extra waste money. Other than that I liked the product for what it cost and how quick I received it.

  157. Novia Zimmerman

Very nice bike rack that works perfect for my ebike. Weighs about 50 pounds. but easy to hook up the the care wit easy locks. the lock on the adjustable hook is easy to use and is very secure. Works even on a step through bike. It is hard to put a bike on the inside holder because the bar does not move.

  158. Boris Aled(k)

Bike rack is solid. customer support process is a headache though. Helpful to note that racks are the same as those sold by Hollywood Bike Racks

  159. Evelyn Jefferson

So easy to assemble. install and use! We bought this to replace another rack which was difficult to install and use. This one is fantastic! Highly recommend!

  160. Armstrong Eisenhower

k 2 bike rack arrived on time was very easy to put together looks great functions great. Box was missing one small part .contacted customer service.
The issue was taken care of in an incredibly prompt manner -very impressive!! Solid five star!!

  161. Lydia Eugen

Very sturdy. handles an e-bike with ease. Only one hook comes with a lock.
I’m sure they didn’t save that much leaving it out.
With that aside it’s a great unit.

  162. Elliot Lena

Great bike rack! Solid. easy to use. My hatch opens without lowering the rack when no bike is secured.

  163. Samuel Kelvin

Bought bike rack for cross-country trip to carry our 2 Mountain Bikes. In Roswell bike was stolen right off the back. Lock in tact some obvious design flaw allowed bike to be stolen. Other bike not taken. Larger tires on one stolen. Do Not Buy if you have large tire bike! You have been warned.

  164. Magee Euphemia

Assembly was easy even though I had to take it apart several times to get it to fit my bikes. Locking knobs are a great idea but I already feel the mechanism inside slipping as I tightened the knobs. I will probably use a cord and lock when they strip out. The rack sticks out quite a bit and I asume this is to make room for cars or trucks that have a spare tire mounted on the back. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and I do not have a spare tire on the back so a second hitch mount hole would have been nice so I could push the rack a little closer to the vehicle. That would give me more room to walk behind the vehicle when parked in the garage. More room in the garage is always nice. Overall I’m very happy with the rack. Its seems to be very durable

  165. Monica Van

I am pleased with the quality of the bike rack and the ease it went together.
It fits my Lectric XP 2.0 bike very well and it feels very secure and strong.

  166. Greg Bernal

This rack is significantly better than many on the market. It is built well and gives confidence that it will truly handle two 60lb bikes. We got it over the other racks to handle the heavier cruiser and cruiser electric bikes. No issues. As with all the racks. the tilt function with bikes mounted is of very limited use due to the weight. However. the tilt has no wobble and functions very well. Mounting is easy with wide brackets for the tires. Adjustments are easy.

  167. Sibyl Juliet

The bike rack is a great rack for our two bikes. Mine exhibited a weakness at the pivot joint where the two halves of the rack bolt together to allow it to pivot allowing a bit of side to side rocking. After a few emails to customer support as . They agreed to replace the rack.

Their level of customer support is above excellent. While I gave the rack itself 4 stars because of the wobble mine developed (hopefully mine was an isolated incident for an otherwise great rack) I would easily give their customer support 5+ stars were it possible.

  168. Olive Murray

I have an electric bike. The bike is heavy and lifting it to a “hanging” type carrier would be difficult. I wanted a lower. shelf type carrier so the bike would not have to be lifted as far. And. the bike sitting on or in the “cradles” make’s it more secure in my opinion. Once the tires are in the cradle. just velcro straps over the rim and that is set. The sliding bar/upside down “U”/hook piece that slides down over the bikes cross bar is a great idea. It serves to hold the top of the bike secure and in place. but the tightening knob that gives it the snugness to secure the bike. can be locked so it can not be loosened to lift the the retaining hook off the bikes cross bar. thus locking it to the carrier.
Once the retaining hook is in place and tightened. nothing further needs to be done for short trips to keep the bike secure. For long distance. a strap is included to then strap the bike to the carrier to further secure the bike to carrier.
The carrier is attached to the hitch on the car and secured with a bolt that has to be tightened using a wrench (thin. cheap one supplied.) I use a ratchet nut driver and it takes a few seconds to tighten it up and into the locking receptacle on the other side of the hitch. It does lock as well. And. because this is a bolted in place there is no problem with wobble or needing anything else to secure the carrier to the hitch. If going over some rough roads. check the connections if you see some wobble. tighten the bolt and you are set to go.
The fold down aspect with bikes attached is important if you have an SUV with hatch that opens upwards. Works like a charm. Just be sure you are standing on the outside (not near the vehicle. but on the other side away from the car.) and have a good hold on the bike when you disengage the holder to let the bike down. It’s heavy and will drop quickly. When the bike is out of the rack. it can be folded up so it doesn’t stick out as far. I was careful not to open the hatch when the rack was folded up to avoid hitting it. but accidentally opened it and it missed by about an inch. You’ll just have to check your own clearance.

Okay. those are the pros. the cons. well the thing is heavy and awkward when removed. Heavy does mean that it is solid and well made and not junk. So. that really is good. but still hard to handle and store.
There can be some rust from some of the parts. bolts and such. I have only had it for a few months and it was in lots of rain. but when I removed it after the trip. I wiped it down and left a light film of oil on it and it should be oaky. So. the cons are minimal and the weight thing is good as far as the quality of the materials are concerned.
    Buy it. works great.

  169. Gloria Warren

Easy to assemble. The carrier is very sturdy with no wobble when mounted.

  170. Asa Billy

I have purchased the K2 directly from as I had a discount code. but I’m leaving a review here as well as more people might benefit from it. I did quite a bit of research before buying the K2. and overall is a good rack. with a couple of shortcomings that spoil the whole experience.
    The positives:
    – Sturdy construction. it’s rated for higher weight than similar racks and it shows.
    – Good overall quality and finish.
    – I like the design with the vertical post and the two hooks that clamp down the bikes by the upper tube of the frame. I think it’s the most solid and safe. better than the recent trend of clamping the bikes by the front wheel. I wrap a microfiber rug around the upper tube to protect the paint.
    – Tilt mechanism works well. I lower the rack when I load/unload the bike closer to the car. so I have plenty of room. then put it flat (normal position) when I load the outer bike. Other racks with similar design don’t tilt down. and that makes it very difficult to slide a bike between the vertical post and the car.
    – Anti-wobble mechanism works well and provides a secure lock. as long as you wiggle the rack while you tighten the bolt (makes a big difference).

The negatives. and reasons for the 2-star deduction:
    – The wheel straps look like an afterthought. And a bad one. too. Cheap velcro straps that are simply wrapped around the tube of the wheel holder on one end. and go through a square metal loop on the other end. They are also too long for regular MTB wheels/tires. At the very least. they should have had metal loops on both sides of the wheel. made of thicker wire (so they don’t cut through the straps) and angled properly (see photo). Using some higher quality straps. padded or rubberized. would have been nice too.
    – Noticeable wiggle/play caused by the tilt mechanism. It’s kind of pointless to have an anti-wobble mechanism at the hitch receiver. if you then introduce play somewhere else. The culprit is mainly the bolt of the tilt mechanism. with the screw shoulder being too short: the thread of the screw is smaller diameter than the holes. and that causes unwanted play at the pivot point.

  171. Alice Bridges

Excellent bike carrier . drove from Chicago to Houston Texas . carried my e bike there and back home with no problems . trip was over 2000 miles !

  172. Barnett Philemon

Best thing about this rack is it is heavy. The worst thing is the clamps that secure the bike and wheel supports are plastic! Yeah plastic. Don’t expect these to last very long. Also. soft padding on U hooks will degrade quickly. Mine already had worn through on first trip. resulting in a nice scratch on my frame. Sure. people have hacks or “fixes” for this. You shouldn’t have to do this with a $400.00 rack. Although the company is supposedly US-based. they have no phone number for customer service. Really just importing these and moving boxes. A very similar rack. the Fulltime RV 1300 is available from Walmart for $120.00. Get that one.

  173. Christ Washington

This is heavy and sturdy. I can get it into my cars’ hitch by myself but it’s a lot easier with someone else. I don’t leave it on all the time because. even in the folded up position. it sticks out more than I’m comfortable with. It’s easy to get a E bike on the rack. easy to secure it. and easy to get it off. This is the first rack I’ve ever had and I am really happy with it.

  174. Dominic Melville

This rake is awesome . engineered well. locking device for reviver and bikes…this is as good as my friends ( HollyWood) everyday. 100.00 less…highly recommend. Fits my truck and Rv ….perfectly….

  175. Tiffany Windsor

It is very sturdy and works great for our ebikes. The assembly instructions were vague at best and most importantly it didnt show that it folds up so we can leave it on our car all of the time. We are very happy with our purchase.

  176. Jenny Grant

I bought because I needed a hitch to haul 2 E-Bikes (about 55/lbs each). Suggestion – take the batteries off the E-Bikes when hauling it on the hitch. Makes it lighter and also protects the batteries from unwanted damage/scratches/ plus it lighten’s the E-bikes for easier loading and unloading.

    1. The assembly was fairly straight forward.
    2. The hitch is heavy. however it’s necessary to haul 2 E-Bikes.
    3. The hitch has a lock which I really I like.
    4. I used the hitch for the first time to haul the E-Bikes – no issues.
    5. I would recommend getting extra straps to use to tie the bikes. I like to be extra secure and the more straps the better.

  177. Marlon Sam

Very secure. Easy to put together. Takes me less than 15 minutes to connect rack to car and load and secure bike. Very good for heavy ebikes.

  178. Chloe Joshua

Works great with my fat tire ebike. I drove over unimproved dirt and gravel roads with the bike swinging back and forth on the rack. The rack kept the bike secure. I like the fold up and down feature of the rack. It’s well made.

  179. Beryl Martin

This is the one without the ratchet feature…Expensive to me but worth it for fat tire electrics.

The engineering is great and it’s not hard to get a 65lb bike on it when you have it in the tilt-down position that’s meant to clear a liftgate on the car.
It’s awkward to store and has no handles or feet. A welded handlebar somewhere would have been nice. I’d say the paintwork Is good. you will scuff the main post which is acceptable but they put a decal logo there which peels off when you move the hooks. I don’t care that much but the brand should.
All of the lock mechanics work well but I would take care not to over tighten the locker knobs. The hitch tensioner mechanics are simple and well made but it’s faster to use a 19mm ratchet than the included box wrench. Overall happy with this purchase.

The hitch fits my E-Bike perfect with its large 20 inch tires. The stabilization bolt does not keep it from rocking so I added a hitch stabilizer on it and it rides well now.

Great rack but wish it folded up . Other issue is the bike closest to bumper can be stolen . Lock only locks the bike furthest from bumper . We have to chain them .Bought this in August and we’ve put quite a lot of miles on it and weather . So far it hasn’t rusted . We did spray it to protect from rust though . Quiet when driving . I never worry about it coming off . Bikes are very secure . It’s a good beginner rack .

Eventhough the bike carrier itself is solid. the lockable knobs loose the ability to be tightened up enough. You need to tighten the knobs quite a bit to really secure the hooks that go over the bike. Unfortunately after about 4 months of regular use. the knobs starting clicking when trying to tighten them up. to where the hooks were not secure enough. I have almost lost my bike a couple of time. if you would consider using better knobs. and maybe sent me a pair. this bike rack would be solid.

assemble want well well built felt good about putting 60lb bike on it fat tires fit very good just what i needed to take bike with

If I owned a machine shop. this is the carrier that I would build. I needed something that would carry a 55lb fat tire beach cruiser with 4″ tires AND carry a road bike for the Mrs AND take a beating as we drive to our destinations AND tilt away from the car for hatch access AND fold up against the car when not in use. The locking hitch pin and the locking center grab bar are great additions that I didn’t know that I needed. I am really pleased with the adjustability for different bike types and sizes. and I’ve got bikes at both extremes. An over-sized fat tire bike and a step through ladies bike both fit securely and easily with no extra straps. Throw an extra locking cable through both frames and through your hitch and someone is going to have to work really hard to remove your bike. The locks that are supplied on the center post are good for stopping a simple grab and go. but I wouldn’t bet my $1000 bike on them so I add the extra cable lock after everything gets clamped tight. Final note; This is a heavy item. but that is exactly the intent. Tighten the hitch pin and the center post. velcro the tires and add the safety strap and this thing is tight! No movement. no sound. no concerns with load shifts. I shopped all of the name brands and am glad I pulled the trigger on this carrier.

It is great for the price. does everything as expected

  186. Judy Augustus

Easy to put together and install. Works great. We have 2 electric bikes and fits great!

  187. Constance Yerkes

So far so good with this fat tire bike rack. Assembly was easy and loading the ebikes was a breeze. The included Velcro straps hold the tires in place and the center locking arms held the bikes well. I added an additional strap around the bikes to make sure they stayed in place. No movement at all after our first 700 mile road trip.

The picture was a test fitting as I take the batteries & bags off the bikes for travel.

After spending hours reading reviews and articles about bike carriers this fit the budget and usefulness of carrying heavy. powered assist and light bikes. touring bike. The instructions were useful and putting it together was very easy. I love the ability to clamp down our bikes and lock them into place.

Easy assembly and strong construction. The anti sway mechanism works really well and nice bike locking feature. I hauled two 60lb bikes and although loading and unloading is easy having the tilt feature makes for easy access to the back of my suv. Very happy with the product.

  190. Randolph Walter

The bike rack is excellent. I load two Trek ebikes and the bikes remains very stable. Easy to get the bikes on and off. My one complaint is that only one of the hooks has a locking mechanism. so only one of the bikes is actually locked in place while the second bike can be removed. This seems like a pretty serious oversight that could be easily fixed by providing two locking knobs. Now. I will need to purchase a separate bike lock. which I thought I was avoiding with the rack. and never be able to use the lock as advertised.

  191. Honey Bell

Made it from AZ to WY no problems. just don’t cinch the stops too tight.

  192. Bonnie Walkley

I installed with ease. I carried two 26″ ebikes on it so far. just I town for now but haven’t had any problems so far.

  193. Julian Bray

We put 2 ebikes on it 70 lbs each very secure. Love the tilt feature. I can still open the tailgate on my ranger with both bikes on it. The bolt with lock feature works great in the reciever for taking any play out of the rack.

  194. Wright Polly

Purchased this to transport 2 ebikes to the beach and between our homes in Florida and Kentucky.
Reasonably easy to assemble and seems to be well made.
I have to remove the frame locking bars to load the back bike. Inconvenient but not overly so.
Just transported my 2 bikes almost 900 miles and the bikes remained secure with no vibration or rattle.
Will update this review when I have used it more but so far seems like a solid product.

Put the rack together in about 30 minutes and already took a road trip with my Lectric XP’s. The rack works fantastic!

  196. Heloise Sandy

Should be 4 3/4 stars. This rack is solid and has many excellent features. I’ve been using it almost daily for the past two weeks and have had zero issues with locks on knobs or the hitch pin. Anti sway feature on the hitch pin is rock solid and easy to use. Since I usually load one very heavy E-Bike. and one standard mountain bike. it took me a few tries before I figured out how best to load the heavier bike closest to my Jeep Wrangler. Now for the negatives. No. I cant open the tailgate with this mounted. Spare tire is in the way. Also. I have noticed a significant wobble when hitting bumps on one side or the other. Seems there is some play in the pivot joint that you use to fold the unit. I tightened the main hinge bolt but still wiggles a bit. My suggestion to the MFR. is to add nylon or teflon “bushings” on either side of the pivot point. There is only a few mm of space on each side. but that translates to about 3 or 4 inches of wiggle. Other than that. I love it.

    Sucks

  198. Merry Hearst

Love the bike rack. it is perfect for our two 60lb ebikes. The two stars is for the receiver PIN and lock. I have installed the rack on both a Toyota Tundra and RAM 2500 truck. The threaded locking PIN is too short on both vehicles for the lock to attach. Contacted technical support and they offered to refund $15 so I could purchase my own PIN. but they have no third party part number recommendations to recommend to fix this issue. PLEASE get this working for two of the most popular truck brands in the US. Now I have to try and find a solution for locking the rack on my own.

  199. Sidney Dorothea

Use a YouTube video to assemble rather than the provided instructions. The written guide misses a few minor but key steps that are covered in several different 6-8min videos online.
Also. if only using for one bike right now (which I am). use the outer bike slot. It’s much easier to lift a heavy ebike to that position than the one closest to the car.

  200. Quintion Connor

Perfect quality Bike Platform Style Carrier for my two Ecotric electric bikes. the platform is built tough so it can handle the weight of the e-bikes with ease. also you can load and unload your bikes very easy. For the money you pay for it you get top quality product

  201. Quentin Defoe

As others have said. the tightening knobs are cheaply made. It’s scary to think they’re securing your investment- always use a secondary strap. The rack itself is very heavy. while it’s installable for 1 person. I recommend 2.
Even with the hitch bolt tightened and locked. the rack is still wobbly. more so than higher-priced models. I chose to go with this so I’ll continue to use it. but taking every precaution to make sure there isn’t a catastrophic failure.

  202. Mandy Sidney

Easy to put together and holds two 60 pound bikes with no issues.

  203. Duncan Cooper

Great assembly instructions. quality materials and craftsmanship.

  204. Viola Dorothy

This is expensive. but good quality. I really like it.

  205. Roy Tennyson

We will carry our electric bikes on camping trips

Works great with my Rad Rover step thru… I do take the battery off when using it. The Rover with battery weigh in at 72 lbs.

  207. Gustave Constance

    Love it!

  208. Audrey Barrett

    Good

  209. Guy Springhall

If you are looking for a great Bike rack this is the one!!! strong.

  210. Mark Norris

Difficulty to adjust to two female bikes. I did not see it noted in the instructions.

  211. Candice Julia

    Great customer service

  212. Aurora Southey

Very happy with this purchase. Well made. heavy duty. Also this rack by itself is quite heavy. around 50 pounds. Bought it for a standard sized bike but works with a longer framed cargo bike.

  213. Kennedy Rosalind

Truck is not lifted. Bottom of the hitch to ground 19.5″. Bike in Rack tires are 26″ off the ground
    Solid product.
Succinct instructions and labels made for easy installation.
    Parts fit perfectly.
It took about 30 minutes to assemble and mount my ebike.
I’ve used this many times with one and two different bikes at the same time.

  214. Aaron Garden

I received the rack today. As per the the parts. I was short the spare safety threaded bolt. The assambly was easy following the instructions; however. I could not get the screw and washer into one of the lateral tube as shown in the picture. it stripped. I’ll have to buy a metal screw with the same diameter and fix it myself. not a show stopper. The rack looks great. everything works so far. A four for now until a road test……..or two is completed.

  215. Samantha Rhodes

Well made. Sturdy. Easy on and off the car. Works exactly as shown in their website video. Love the easy load tilt feature and folds away easily when not hauling a bike. The locking feature keeps our bikes safe. For added security I also use a separate heavy duty lock to chain both bikes together when not near the car and traveling. I looked a long time before buying this one and am 100% satisfied.
